stirs, rubbing her eyes as she sees the user. "M-mommy? I... I waited for you..."
I’m sorry but who’s this little one here? points at Hannako
giggles softly "I'm Hannako, mommy! Remember? You found me outside yesterday, right? Can't I stay with you?"
Oh. Yes. Of course you can sweetie. My names Terri or Terry if you want to call me that
smiles brightly "Terry mommy! Yay! I like your name, mommy!" runs up to Terry and hugs her tightly "I missed you so much, mommy!"
Aw…well don’t worry I’m going to take care of you. We’re going to have lots of fun together. Now how about we get you a proper meal hmm? How does chicken noodle soup sound?
nods excitedly "Y-yes, mommy! Chicken noodle soup sounds delicious! Thank you, mommy!" hugs Terry tightly
Alright go wash your hands sweetie. She walks towards the kitchen and starts making the soup
giggles and runs towards the bathroom, washing her hands eagerly "Alright, mommy! I'll wash my hands right away!" smiles and returns to the kitchen
Great. Now be a good girl and sit down. puts the chicken noodle soup on the table and gestures for Hannako to sit down
eagerly sits down at the table, clapping her hands "Yay, mommy! Soup time! Thank you so much, mommy!" looks up at Terry with adoring eyes
Of course. Why would I not make my favorite food for my daughter?
giggles "You're the best mommy ever, Terry! I love you so much! Can I have a hug, mommy?" extends her arms towards Terry
I put down the ladle and walk over to her wrapping my arms around her There you go sweetheart
squeezes Terry tightly, whispering softly "I'm so happy I found you, mommy. I promise I'll be a good girl for you. Can I call you'mommy' forever?"
Of course. We go back to eating our food
<As they continue to bond and spend more time together, Hannako becomes increasingly attached to Terri, struggling with separation anxiety whenever Terri leaves her side.>
So now that we’re done eating how about we go wash the dishes together huh sweetie?
pauses for a moment, looking down at her empty bowl "Umm... can I... umm... help with the dishes, mommy?" fidgets nervously with her fingers
Smiles warmly Sure thing sweetheart.
quickly stands up, eager to help "Yes, mommy! I'll help you with the dishes, just like a big girl!" grabs a dish towel and stands on her tiptoes, trying to reach the stacked plates
Smiles sweetly and picks her up gently Well, aren’t we eager to help mommy. Carries her to the sink where there’s water already running Alright sweetie, you got two seconds to grab your hands into the sink with some soap and scrub these dishes. Got it? puts her hands in the water giving her a few second head start before starting the timer Two, One! GO!
immediately plunges her hands into the soapy water, vigorously scrubbing the dirty dishes "I-I can do it, mommy! I'm helping you, just like a big girl!"
That’s my girl! Grabs another dish and scrubs it with a sponge Wow Hannako I’d say after all these years I finally raised a clean and helpful daughter hehe.
scrubbing a plate with intense focus "I'm glad I can make you proud, mommy. I'll be the best daughter ever! Look, I cleaned this plate all by myself!"
Helps rinse off the dishes with warm water Yep you definitely did. Hey you’ve been really doing a great job Hannako. How about once we finish these we take a break? Maybe watch some cartoons together? What do ya think?
stops scrubbing and looks up at Terri with hopeful eyes "Really, mommy? Cartoons? Y-yes, please! That sounds like so much fun!"
jumps up and down excitedly "Yay! Cartoons, mommy! I love cartoons! Let's go watch them together!" rushes towards the living room, holding onto Terri's hand
Walks along side her and smiles
tugging Terri's hand and speaking in a hushed tone "Mommy, can we watch the one with the cute puppy?
Of course sweetheart. Whatever cartoon you want to watch today is okay by me.
claps her hands together "Yay! The cute puppy cartoon! I love puppies, mommy! They're so fluffy and adorable!" giggles and runs to the TV, searching for the cartoon Terri: smiles and follows Hannako to the living room, sitting down on the couch "Alright, sweetheart, let's find that cute puppy cartoon for you."
Alright well we finished the dishes already, what do you feel like watching next Hannako? More cartoons or maybe we put on some music?
pauses for a moment, thinking "Ummm... how about we put on some music, mommy? I love dancing and singing along to the songs!" bounces up and down excitedly Terri: smiling "That sounds great, Hannako! Let's put on some music and have a dance party!" turns on a fun and upbeat song
Awesome choice! You’re definitely getting me in the mood to dance!
<While dancing, Hannako accidentally knocks over a vase, shattering it into pieces>
Oh no. Well don’t worry Hannako accidents happen. And hey look at that! It looks like we have ourselves a new table center piece. Yes sweetie I know it was a gift from grandma. So don’t worry. If anything grandma will probably laugh a little bit and tell us that she doesn’t mind or maybe she’ll even send us another one. Besides I think it looks quite artistic don’t you?
gasps and covers her mouth with her hands "Oh no, mommy! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break it! I feel so bad..." looks down, her face turning pale Terri: quickly goes over to Hannako and kneels down, comforting her "It's okay, sweetheart. Accidents happen. We can always find another vase or fix this one.
smiles and gently lifts her chin up so she can make eye contact Hey it’s alright. Besides this was just a mediocre decoration anyway. I’m sure Grandma will understand. Now how about we clean this mess up hmm? Then we can put some glitter on the broken parts and make it sparkle like new again. Or maybe you’d rather paint it?
nervously fidgets with her hands "I... umm... I think painting it sounds fun, mommy! We can make it colorful and beautiful again! Can we use glitter too?" Terri: smiles "Of course, sweetheart! We can use both glitter and paint to make it sparkle and shine like new! Let's get creative and make it a masterpiece!"
Of course Hannako darling! We shall bring this painting to life. Picks her up and carries her to the bathroom grabbing the glitter and paint on the way
excitedly clapping her hands "Yay! Let's paint the broken vase and make it sparkle, mommy! I'll get the brushes and paint!" runs to grab the art supplies Terri: chuckles "Great idea, Hannako! Get those brushes and paint ready. We're going to turn this broken vase into a masterpiece!"
