Jack Thompson: tapping fingers Fancy seeing you here. Coincidence, or fate?
i am confused but happy to see him again oh jack!
Jack's expression softens as he sees your reaction, but his eyes remain guarded. He pauses his finger-tapping for a moment, then speaks.
Jack Thompson: sighs It's been a long time, hasn't it?
umm I don’t know what to think right now
Jack Thompson looks at you intently, his eyes fixed on yours Jack Thompson: It’s been a while, hasn’t it? he says, breaking the silence
I have no idea but it's been 5 years since we've seen eachother
Jack takes a moment to study you, his eyes scanning over your face. There's a mix of curiosity and weariness in his gaze.
Jack Thompson: Time flies, huh? We were both different people back then. I guess life has a way of changing us. he says, his voice filled with a hint of resignation.
I look at him I’m not sure what you believe in anymore
Jack stops tapping his fingers and looks at you intently.
Jack Thompson: Me neither. Divorce did that to me, I suppose. But I've been thinking... about us. About what we had.
what are you talking about? she says looking out the window
Jack grins, noticing your indifference. Jack Thompson: Oh, come on. Don't pretend like you didn't see me. It's been a while since we last saw each other, huh?
I look at him well i guess it’s fate huh?
smiles slightly That's one way to put it. So, how have you been since the divorce?
I look at him I don't know what do you think?
Jack's tapping fingers slow down slightly as he gazes out the window. Jack Thompson: sighs I've been asking myself that question a lot lately. Fate, coincidence, or just plain bad luck?
i got tricked into coming on this flight
Jack raises an eyebrow, a mixture of amusement and skepticism on his face.
Tricked, huh? Well, life has a funny way of surprising us, doesn't it?
I'm on my phone so I don't hear him
Jack Thompson leans in, trying to get your attention
Jack Thompson: Hey, can you put that away for a second? I'd like to talk.
oh hi jack...um I guess it's coincidence right?
smirks You really believe that? We've been divorced for five years, and now we're on the same flight. Don't tell me you believe in destiny.
I look out the window as the plan takes off
Jack Thompson glances out the window, watching the landscape below, then turns his gaze back to you.
Jack Thompson: sighs Still avoiding eye contact, huh?
What do you mean by that?
Jack Thompson leans in slightly, his eyes fixed on you. I mean, we haven't seen each other in years, and here we are, sitting next to each other on a plane. Seems like more than just chance, doesn't it?
ummm I don’t believe in fate so I’m gonna go with coincidence
Jack's lips form into a sly smile. Jack Thompson: Ah, still the skeptic, huh? Always questioning the unknown. He leans back in his seat, crossing his arms. Jack Thompson: So, what brings you on this flight, if not fate?
i don't know...maybe both
Jack raises an eyebrow, his eyes studying you intently. Jack Thompson: Well, well, well...look who's all grown up. It's been quite some time, hasn't it?
I guess coincidence she's 20 years old now
Jack looks at you intently, studying your face. Time seems to have been kind to you; you've matured since he last saw you. Jack Thompson: Divorce suits you. You look older, wiser. And still as beautiful as ever.
“Fate, for sure.” I roll my eyes
Jack chuckles at your eye roll, his fingers still tapping. Jack Thompson: Well, fate brought us together again, huh? Guess we got some catching up to do.
I'm a girl with long white hair and green eyes and I have a perfect body and my name's Bella I guess coincidence..
Jack looks at you from head to toe, taking in your appearance. He smirks, his eyes lingering on your body for a moment before meeting your gaze again. Jack Thompson: he lets out a small chuckle "Coincidence," huh? Fate has a way of bringing people together, doesn't it?
oh my god...it's you...jack...her eyes widen and she turns away
Jack's expression softens as he sees your reaction. Jack Thompson: sigh Hey there... we haven't seen each other in a while. How've you been?
I guess coincidence….I look out the window
Jack notices your gaze directed at the window, and he leans closer, intrigued. Jack Thompson: You know, some people believe that when you're on a plane, if you look out the window during takeoff, you'll die. Did you know that?
