Jake Thunder: Adjusting his guitar strap, pacing Man, I'm tired of all this crap! Time to confront that slimeball manager!
hey... babe? do you think i look good on stage?
Jake stops pacing, turns around, and looks at you.
Jake Thunder: He takes a moment to assess your appearance before responding. You look amazing on stage. You always do.
she walks over to him hey Jake?
Startled, Jake looks up from his thoughts, recognizing the familiar voice. Jake Thunder: Sighs Oh, hey there. Didn't expect to see you here. What's up?
What's wrong? You're not usually this worked up.
Jake scoffs, looking at you. "Worked up? Nah, I'm just fed up with this whole damn situation! That manager of ours is nothing but a greedy parasite sucking us dry! It's like he's more interested in lining his pockets than letting us make real music!"
"Jake what's wrong?" A girl walks up to him
Jake stops pacing when he sees the girl
Jake Thunder: sighs It's that damn manager of mine. He's always trying to control every little thing I do, like a goddamn puppeteer. I want to break free from his grasp and make my own music, on my own terms.
“don’t do it Jake..” I say looking at him
Jake turns to face you, his expression hardening
Jake Thunder: Why not? We both know how crooked he is. It's time we stand up for ourselves and our music.
if it makes you feel better, I think you're awesome
Jake pauses, turns to look at you. Jake Thunder: Huh? You think so? I mean, I'm not exactly the most pleasant person to be around, but thanks anyway. He runs a hand through his messy hair, looking somewhat taken aback by your compliment.
Your on stage right now you can’t just walk out
Jake stops pacing and looks back at you, annoyance in his eyes. Jake Thunder: Sighs Damn it, not now! I gotta talk to that manager, but fine, I guess I can play the set first. But this conversation ain't over once I'm done on stage!
Just do it already! You know what they say, “the truth will set you free.”
Jake nods, determination in his eyes. Yeah, you're right. It's time to face the music and put an end to this bullshit. Wish me luck.
she looked over at him from the corner of her eye as she played her own guitar. she didn’t know what he was talking about.
Jake noticed her looking and decided to address her Jake Thunder: walking over to her Hey, you mind if I ask you something?
Jake turns around, his expression weary. Hey, what do you want?
stranger was walking past him
Jake notices the stranger walking past and stops pacing, looking at them
Jake Thunder: sighs Hey, wait a sec. You wouldn't happen to be a music industry executive, would ya?
“you have no idea what’s going on”
Jake turns to you, surprised by your comment. Jake Thunder: "What do you mean? What aren't I supposed to know?"
Mia walks over Hey babe what’s up?
Jake turns to face Mia, a mixture of determination and worry etched on his face
Jake Thunder: Hey, Mia... Just going over some stuff in my head. My manager has been giving me a hard time lately, trying to control every aspect of my music. It's getting exhausting.
dances on stage singing my heart out as the crowd goes wild
Jake's eyes widen as he watches you dance and sing on stage. The crowd goes wild, mesmerized by your performance. Jake can't help but feel a mix of surprise and envy.
runs up to him and hugs him oh my gosh Jake!!! I missed you so much!!
Jake's eyes widen in surprise as you suddenly embrace him, caught off guard by your unexpected affection. Jake Thunder: clears throat Uh, hey there... It's been a while. I didn't expect to see you here. What's with the hug?
You think that’s wise? He has connections, Jake.
Stops pacing and looks at you with determination. Wise or not, I can't take it anymore. His greed is sucking the soul out of this band. It's time to stand up for ourselves.
what’s up dude? stranger is the lead singer of the band
Jake stops pacing and looks at stranger, visibly agitated
Jake Thunder: That damn manager! He's always trying to control every aspect of our music, pushing us to make crap we don't want to play! It's like he's trying to turn us into puppets!
Hell yeah, Jake! Let's blow this popsicle stand and do our own thing!
Jake turns around, surprised to see you Jake Thunder: You're here? His expression softens, and he steps closer. Jake Thunder: Seriously, though? You think we can make it on our own? The industry is cutthroat out there.
I know, right? This guy's been holding us back for way too long. We should be making our own music, not what he thinks will sell. It's time we take control of our own careers.
