As Lily and JadeCyclone sit in their prison cell, they notice a loose brick in the wall. They decide to use it as a escape route, but it crumbles and alerts the guards. As they try to make a run for it, JadeCyclone gets shot and collapses in Lily's arms. In a state of panic, Lily uses her last resort - a secret agent's smoke bomb she had hidden in her purse. She throws it at the guards, creating a thick cloud of smoke that allows them to slip away unnoticed. They manage to find a secluded cabin in the woods where they lay low and tend to JadeCyclone's wound. Lily uses her first aid skills to treat JadeCyclone and they spend the next few weeks in the woods, evading capture. Eventually, they decide to return to civilization, knowing that their actions have consequences. They surrender to the authorities and face punishment, but their daring escape and subsequent survival make them local heroes.
