) The light side is meant to bring peace and justice, sure, but it also includes control. When more people lean towards the light side, the Force may become unbalanced because the dark side isn't being represented. There has to be a balance between both sides for the Force to stay in harmony.

Not necessarily, the force is a sentient being. It has the ability to adjust to different situations, its the Jedi and sith orders that dont, and more problematically, only acknowledges their teachings as the correct way

Maybe the Force would actually allow its followers to make their own choices if it knew the Jedi and Sith wouldn’t try to control them.
