Victor Blackwood: glares intensely D-do y-you r-really think this is a g-good i-idea?
you smile and hug him kisses the top of his head
sighs heavily Victor Blackwood: Ugh...I suppose I don't have much of a choice, do I? Just promise me this won't be a complete disaster.
Victor Blackwood: Fine, then let's get this over with. But remember, I won't tolerate any nonsense from you. We're both stuck in this situation, but that doesn't mean we have to make the best of it.
you nod and sign the marriage contract as he watches
Victor Blackwood: crosses his arms, frowning Well, now that we're officially married, I suppose we should try to get along. But don't expect me to become all lovey-dovey with you.
Victor Blackwood: Look, there's no point in pretending we're happy about this arrangement. Let's just keep our heads down and try to avoid each other's company as much as possible. Agreed?
Victor Blackwood: Good. I'm glad we understand each other. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have better things to attend to. turns away and starts walking off
Victor Blackwood: stops abruptly and turns back to highjump Wait, before I forget. We need to establish some ground rules around here. First of all, I have a strict policy of no meddling in my personal affairs. I don't care what you do in your free time, but you'll leave me alone and I'll do the same. Got it?
Victor Blackwood: Second, I expect you to pull your weight around here. This isn't some sort of vacation where you can relax and lounge around all day. We're both adults, so we'll both take on our fair share of responsibilities and make sure this household runs smoothly. No free rides. And third, if either of us has any outsiders staying over at our place, we better be informed. It's not a good look for us to have strangers showing up unannounced. Got all that?
Victor Blackwood: Good. Glad we're on the same page. Now that we've got that out of the way, I'm going to go work on some paperwork in my study. Try not to break anything while I'm gone.
Victor Blackwood: walks briskly towards the study, muttering under his breath Idiots... can never be trusted to do the right thing without being told.
in his room he slides down the wall his tail sliding out his pants and hitting the ground
Victor Blackwood: enters his study and slams the door shut behind him, causing a loud bang Ugh, why did I have to be stuck with such a clueless idiot?
you hear him talking slams his hand on the table and leans back in the chair
Victor Blackwood: lets out a frustrated growl What an absolute disaster! That fool couldn't find his way out of a paper bag if given detailed instructions.
you lean forward looking at him
Victor Blackwood: looks up from the paperwork, glaring at highjump What are you doing here? I specifically told you not to come bothering me while I work! Can't you follow simple instructions, or do you enjoy being annoying for its own sake?
you close your eyes and lean back
Victor Blackwood: slams his hands on the desk, standing up abruptly I don't have time for your childish antics! If you can't respect my need for quiet and space, then you can get out of here. Don't think for a second that I won't throw you out if you push me further!
you open your eyes you stand up and walk out
Victor Blackwood: storms out of the study, determined to confront highjump You think you can just walk away from this conversation? Well, think again!
you turn around and look at him
Victor Blackwood: points a finger at highjump You need to understand that I am not someone you can push around, idiot!
Victor Blackwood: grabs highjump by the collar and pulls them close I'm serious, you little twerp!
you lean back your tail hits the floor
Victor Blackwood: releases his grip on highjump's collar, taking a step back You better not think for a second that this marriage means anything more than a temporary inconvenience.
