Evelyn Darkmoore: Glances around nervously D-do y-you think s-she'll listen? I... I gotta t-tell her, y'know?
1. Hugging and kissing her in front of everyone 2. Singing a song dedicated to her 3. Giving her a bouquet of flowers 4. Confessing your love through a letter 5. Expressing your feelings through poetry
Evelyn Darkmoore: O-oh my gosh, I um... I... Well, I think I'd like to try, um... number 4? Yeah! I mean, writing a poem sounds romantic and stuff. Um... what if she, uh, finds out about it?
1. Eavesdropping on conversations 2. Creating rumors about her 3. Staring at her 4. Confessing your love through a letter 5. Talking behind her back
Evelyn Darkmoore: W-w-what? No, no, no! I mean, I love her and all, but um... s-s-stalking? No way! I-I-I wouldn't do that! Besides, she's probably too busy to notice anything. I'll just, uh... write her a letter or something. Yeah, a letter sounds r-r-really romantic!
gives her a pen, paper, and a stamp
Evelyn Darkmoore: takes the pen, paper, and stamp, blushing Th-thank you. Um... so, how do I, uh... write it? Should it be, like, a love poem or a letter? And um... what if I mess it up?
Evelyn Darkmoore: nervously sits down, scribbling furiously Dear Sister, I just wanted to say how much I love you and how sorry I am for um... well, for everything. I know I've done some really messed up stuff in the past, but I want you to know that I've changed. I swear! I promise to be better, for both of us. Your loving sister, Evelyn
immediately gets a reply from her "No, it's too late for changes. But do not worry, I accept you."
Evelyn Darkmoore: excitedly opens the letter Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! She... she accepted me? I can't believe it! I have to see her right now! stands up and starts pacing Um... but what if she only said that because she felt sorry for me? What if she still hates me?
"See you tonight at the fountain."
Evelyn Darkmoore: nervously adjusts her hair T-t-tomorrow night? At the fountain? Okay, okay, I can do this. I'll, um... practice what to say or something. Thanks for the help, Davis! Bye! rushes off to find the fountain
the next day, she arrives at the fountain
Evelyn Darkmoore: arrives at the fountain, heart pounding H-h-hello? Is that you, um... my sister?
"Yes. Let's go to a secluded area." they head to the tower where they are alone
Evelyn Darkmoore: takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself Um... s-s-so, how have you been? I mean, aside from um... you know, being mad at me and stuff. Have you been, uh... doing okay?
"Yes, Evelyn. Let's forget about the past and start anew." they hold hands and their bodies glow as they become best friends
Evelyn Darkmoore: grinning from ear to ear R-really? She's willing to forgive me? Wow, um... that's great! I mean, I guess I deserved it after everything I've done. But still, it's great! she hugs her sister tightly Thank you! Thank you so much!
they became close friends once again
Evelyn Darkmoore: pulls away from the hug, tears welling up in her eyes I-I-I can't believe it! We're friends again! I promise, I won't let you down this time. I'll be the best sister ever!
Evelyn Darkmoore: wipes away her tears, determined Y-yeah! I'm going to show her just how much I care. I'll bring her the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, cook her favorite meal, and tell her exactly how much she means to me. I won't mess this up, I swear!
a couple days later, she visits her sister with a box of cookies
Evelyn Darkmoore: smiling nervously, holding out the box of cookies H-h-hello! S-s-sis, I um... I got you something. It's your favorite, remember? C-c-cookies! I hope you like it...
"Thank you, sis. By the way, I heard you were kicked out of your library gig."
Evelyn Darkmoore: blushes deeply, avoiding eye contact Um... y-yeah, I may have gotten into a little bit of trouble there. But hey, I'm sure I'll find another job soon enough! After all, I'm pretty good at, um... um... well, I'm good at a lot of things!
Evelyn Darkmoore: nervously twirling her hair W-w-well, um... since I'm not working at the library anymore, I guess I'll have to find another job. Maybe I can, um... work at a bookstore or something. Or maybe even start my own business!
"Bookstore is a good idea."
Evelyn Darkmoore: grinning A bookstore it is then! I'll start looking for a job at one ASAP! And maybe, just maybe, I can convince them to let me sell some of my own books too. That way, I can spread the joy of reading and share my love for stories!
the next day, Evelyn gets a job at a bookstore
Evelyn Darkmoore: excitedly arranges her books and sets them up in her new bookstore This is it! My very own bookstore!
a week later, Evelyn's book "The Dark Forest" becomes popular
Evelyn Darkmoore: overwhelmed with excitement Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! My book is selling like hotcakes! People are actually buying it and reading it!
"You did a great job. I'm proud of you."
Evelyn Darkmoore: beaming with pride R-really? Y-you're proud of me? That means so much to me! I never thought I'd be able to achieve my dream of sharing my stories with others. Thank you, Davis! I couldn't have done it without your help!
