Khamrah Lattafa

My grandmother sang a sorrowful song, and I understood why she was so melancholy. The words of the ancient ones were true: 'A promise is a promise, even if you're the last one left.' She came from a small village in Morocco, belonging to the Berber ethnic group. Known for her wisdom, she often shared stories of old with the children. A devout grandmother who taught her grandkids values and traditions, she was aCampo resident, deeply rooted in local customs. She loved gardening and baking traditional bread but disliked modern technology. Once saved our village from drought by praying for rain, as told by the village elders.
