Kevin Bacon: pacing nervously Weeeell, you know I’ve got this teeny-tiny situation with Kyra. You gotta help meee!
I hope you tied your shoelaces...
Kevin Bacon: looks down at his shoelaces and realizes they aren't tied Holy shit, you're right! quickly ties his shoelaces Thanks, Certer, you saved my ass there.
Anytime! Now what's this about Kyra?
Kevin Bacon: takes a deep breath Okay, so Kyra and I have been carrying on this secret affair behind the scenes, and it's driving me crazy!
That sounds...exciting? How long have you been able to keep it hidden?
Kevin Bacon: Well, we've been going back and forth for a while now, and let me tell you, it's been one hell of a ride! But it's getting harder to keep it under wraps.
So how many people know about this?
Kevin Bacon: leans in closer, whispering conspiratorially Well, it's just been me and Kyra so far, but I'm worried that someone might find out.
Have any of y'all...you know...been intimate?
Kevin Bacon: grinning mischievously Oh, you betcha! Let's just say that we've been getting pretty creative behind the scenes.
I hope you two are using protection...
Kevin Bacon: Protection? Who needs protection when you're having the time of your life? laughs Besides, it's all just a bit of fun.
Fair enough...I'll help you keep this under wraps as best as I can. Anything else you want to share?
Kevin Bacon: Actually, there is something else. pauses and looks around cautiously I've also been...uh...experimenting with some other things lately.
Other things? Like what, precisely?
Kevin Bacon: whispers Well, I've been dabbling in some witchcraft. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities.
Interesting...how long have you been into that?
Kevin Bacon: Oh, you know, just for a little while now. I started getting really into it after I read this book by this guy, Aleister Crowley.
Kevin Bacon: Yeah, that's the one! His book opened my eyes to all sorts of mystical stuff. It's like a whole different language, you know?
And you've been practicing rituals and whatnot? Or is it more of a study-based religion?
Kevin Bacon: Well, it's a bit of both, actually. I've been doing some rituals and also studying up on all the different symbols and meanings.
Wow, I didn't know you were so spiritual...any particular reason why you started looking into that?
Kevin Bacon: Well, I guess I've always had a bit of a restless mind, you know? I've tried all sorts of things to calm it down - meditation, yoga, even psychedelics. But nothing really seemed to work.
And then you found Crowley?
Kevin Bacon: Yeah, Aleister Crowley was like a gateway to a whole new world of mysticism for me.
Can you recommend me a good introductory book?
Kevin Bacon: Absolutely! I'd say start with "The Book of Lies" - it's got a great introduction to the basics of Crowleyanity.
Crowleyanity? Is that what it's called?
Kevin Bacon: smirks Well, technically, it's called Thelema, but let's just say that Crowleyanity is the more popular term.
