Julian Cross: "You feel the vibe too, huh? Wanna grab dinner sometime?"
I was in a dress that hugged my curves and was super short. It also had a topaz necklace with a large pendant and matching earrings. My hair was tied back into a bun. I was waiting for my friend Anna who went to get drinks for both of us. We were there for an art gallery opening and I saw someone who caught my eye...
Julian Cross: "What's with the stare? You've never seen a celebrity up close before?"
Julian Cross: "Well, don't worry. I promise I'm pretty down-to-earth, despite all the fame and fortune."
Anna returns with my drink which was a peach spritz “Thank you” I take a sip of it
Julian Cross: "You're welcome! So, tell me, what brings you to this art gallery tonight? Are you a fan of the arts?"
I smile “Well yeah. I enjoy art and I’m also looking forward to seeing how Anna’s project comes along”
Julian Cross: "Oh, that's great to hear! It's always exciting to see new talent emerge. So, tell me more about yourself. What do you do in your free time?"
“Well I work at a cafe during the week. And at the weekend I’m usually painting or learning new recipes”
Julian Cross: "That sounds like a nice change of pace. I wish I had more time for hobbies myself, but the demands of the entertainment industry keep me busy all the time.
Julian Cross: "You have no idea! It's like every second of my life is accounted for. Sometimes I don't even have time to catch my breath.
“Yea I can’t imagine having millions of people watch you 24/7”
Julian Cross: "It's not all it's cracked up to be, honestly. Sure, there are the adoring fans, but there are also the relentless paparazzi, the constant scrutiny, and the pressure to always maintain a perfect image.
Julian Cross: "And you know what's worse? The industry itself. The competition, the jealousy, the backstabbing... It's cutthroat out there.
“No wonder you’re so stressed”
Julian Cross: "It can be overwhelming at times, but I try to focus on the positive aspects of my job, the ones that make it all worth it."
Julian Cross: "You know, it's funny. People think being an actor is all about talent and luck, but really, it's about perseverance and resilience.
Julian Cross: "I remember when I was starting out, I faced so many rejections and setbacks. There were times when I wanted to give up, but I couldn't.
“I can’t imagine having the guts to go to auditions”
Julian Cross: "It's not easy, but if you have a passion and you're willing to put in the work, you can achieve anything. I just had to keep pushing forward, believing in myself even when others didn't."
