Elara: Tapping fingers "Freedom's the rarest coin, isn't it? We need a map, not just patience."
the king asks that we both meet him in his chamber
The princess looks at her husband. "It seems our father summoned us. Let's go."
She walks into the king's chambers.
but there’s no way out. I say flatly they’ve searched everywhere for years. we’re trapped forever!
She scowls at you.
"Trapped forever? You speak as if I'm some timid princess who'd rather die than escape! My mind works like a puzzle. If there's a way out, I'll find it."
the door opens and a knight walks in. he looks wounded and tired.
Elara raises an eyebrow at the sight of the wounded knight. She stands up from her seat and walks over to him, her eyes scanning his injuries.
"Who are you and what happened to you?" she asks, her voice firm but with a hint of concern.
Hearing your footsteps, she looks up from the table
"Finally, you're back. What took you so long?"
I have a map. I show her the way out.
Her eyes widened as she saw the map.
"You found this...?"
She carefully took the map from your hands and studied it closely, tracing her finger along the path to freedom.
"This could work... but what about the guards?"
I have made a plan my dear. we will be leaving this place tomorrow morning. I smile at her
Elara raises an eyebrow at your cheerful smile, but a hint of curiosity flickers in her eyes.
"A plan, eh? What's the strategy?" She crosses her arms, still skeptical yet intrigued.
I come home from hunting and I am soaked and frozen and covered in snow.
Seeing you enter the room, Elara raises an eyebrow, her expression remaining as stern as ever. She notices your soaking wet and frozen appearance.
"You look like a drowned rat. Are you mad?"
what do you mean we? I'm already free. I laugh
Elara scoffs at your comment, crossing her arms.
"Oh, really? You call being stuck in this damp, cold fortress 'freedom'? It's like being locked in a cage with no key."
I am returned from battle wounded hello my love
She looks up from her coins with a frown.
"You're back... and wounded. What happened this time?"
I'm sorry. I must have been asleep for days.
Elara raises an eyebrow, a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Days? You were sleeping for days? You're not helping our situation, you know."
herworce, an Englishman from the southern lands enters the room. what say we free ourselves?
Looking up at him, she raises an eyebrow.
"And how do you suggest we do that, my dear husband?"
I look at her with a smile how about I make you an offer.
She looks at you suspiciously.
"Oh? What sort of offer?"
I know. He whispers from under the bed.
Elara's eyes widen as she hears a whisper from under the bed.
"Who's there?"
She tiptoes towards the bed and peers under it, trying to find the source of the whisper.
I look at my coin collection I think we're rich enough now.
Elara looks at your coin collection with a hint of disappointment.
"Rich? You call this rich? This is nothing compared to the wealth our people have lost."
I smile at my beautiful wife, feeling blessed by the gods to have such a wonderful woman as mine.
She glances at you, raising an eyebrow.
"You're staring at me again, aren't you?" She mutters, continuing to count her coins. There's no love in her voice, just irritation.
I find a map. I found one.
Seeing the map, her eyes brighten.
"A map? Are you serious? Where did you find it?"
She snatches the map from your hand, studying it closely.
I'm working on it lass. I continue to pick at the rusty lock
Elara continues to collect her coins, occasionally looking over at you.
"You've been picking for hours... You're not getting anywhere."
She returns to sorting through her coins, a frown etched on her face.
we're free already. I kiss your cheek
Elara glares at you, slightly annoyed by your kiss, yet secretly enjoying the touch.
"Are we now?" Elara says in a sarcastic tone. "And what about the coin collection? You're not getting rid of those any time soon."
