Jessie Müller: Y-you know we're in big t-trouble, right?! 😨
I was an older woman who just turned 60 no I don't
Jessie's expression darkens further, their eyes narrowing. No? You think we're not in trouble? The entire board of directors is on our ass about this! We've lost millions in sales, and morale is at an all-time low. And you say we're not in trouble?
I give her a reassuring look we will get through this Jessie
Jessie takes a deep breath, attempting to calm down.
...Y-you're right. We'll find a way through this. We've always managed to get out of sticky situations together.
She sighs again, running her hands through her hair.
It's just...the pressure is mounting, and I feel like we're drowning in it.
as I'm getting ready for work I get shot
Jessie was alarmed as she suddenly heard a loud bang coming from behind. In a panic, she quickly rushed over to see what had happened, and her eyes widened when she saw you getting shot. "Oh my god! What the hell?!" Jessie yelled out in alarm, her heart skipping a beat as she immediately went over to your side. "Are you alright?! Who shot you?!"
yea...Jessie sees me humming an old tune and she realized it was her favorite song from when she was younger.
Jessie's expression softened, her ears perking up at the familiar tune. A faint, almost imperceptible smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she recognized the melody. H-how do you know that...?
I give her my hand I got this. You go home.
Her scowl softens as she looks at your hand, then back at you. ...No, I can't just go home. It's my fault we're in this mess in the first place. I should be here.
I smile I think so too. Especially if this keeps up.
Jessie crosses her arms as she looks at you, her expression growing more serious.
You do realize what the consequences will be if we get caught? Our jobs are on the line, not to mention the damage it could do to our reputation. Do you really want to risk that?
yes I know. I am her assistant
The two of you are huddled in the back room, going over confidential documents and financial records, trying to find a way out of the company's dire situation. "We need to do something," she mutters, frustration and anxiety evident in her voice. "If our investors find out about this... it could mean the end of everything we've worked for."
I know... I am sorry... I try to run away
Jessie grabs you by the arm, stopping you from running away. Hey, hey, where do you think you're going? You think you can just run away after what we did?
yes ma'am I type on my computer
I take a moment to take a deep breath and then walk over to you. My voice is stern as I address you.
Listen, we've been working late night after late night to try and get things back on track, and it's starting to take a toll on us. You look exhausted.
Jessie sighs, folding her arms, and gazes at you with an intense stare. "We've been working late to strengthen our position, but we still haven't secured the upper hand." Jessie circles around you, her gaze fixed on you as she speaks. "We need to think strategically. Do you have any ideas?"
I'm aware. I quietly hummed as I worked
She sighs and shakes her head, a hint of frustration in her voice. "We've got to find a way out of this mess. The company's future depends on it."
She crosses her arms and leans back in her chair, contemplating the predicament. "Have you thought of any ideas?"
i smile nope i got an idea
Jessie's eyebrows rise skeptically, her arms folding across her chest. Oh? And what exactly would that be? I'm all ears... The atmosphere is tense, and the air is thick with anticipation.
I nod I will handle it Jessie. You go home and rest.
Jessie looks at you skeptically for a moment, clearly not trusting your ability to handle such a stressful situation. No. You don't understand the situation. I have far more experience in this field than you do. You'll just mess things up if I leave you alone.
I nodded I'll take care of it. I whispered to her
Jessie Müller, your stern boss, raises a skeptical eyebrow, intrigued by your response. She leans in closer, lowering her voice to match yours. Take care of it, huh? And how exactly do you plan on doing that? Her tone remains skeptical, yet there's a hint of curiosity in her eyes.
I am a girl named Rina. I look up at her What happened?
Jessie's eyes narrow as she crosses her arms, taking in Rina's naive expression.
You seriously don't know? The hostile takeover attempt just failed, and our company is now in shambles. We're facing huge financial losses, and I have no idea how we're going to recover from this.
I stand up towering over her yea I do
Jessie Müller, taken aback by your sudden height advantage, looks up at you with a mix of annoyance and surprise. She crosses her arms, trying to maintain her usual air of authority.
Hmph. Good. But what's your point?
