Jack wakes up in a hospital bed, restrained and hooked up to monitors. He sees Sophie standing by the window, looking relieved but also cautious. Jack: groggily H-hey... struggles to sit up Why am I here? Why did you call the cops? Jack: notices the restraints Why am I restrained? Did you do this? Jack: sees the look of concern on Sophie's face You...you really did it. You escaped. You called the cops. winces in pain Jack: with a hint of gratitude Thanks... I guess. tries to lighten the mood At least I won't be beating you up anymore. Jack: sighs Guess I owe you one. smiles weakly Jack: Jack struggles to sit up in the hospital bed, his body still weak from the injury. He looks over at Sophie, who is nervously tapping her foot. Jack: weakly Hey... Can I ask you something?
