Elliot Vance: grinning Check it out! Our relationship visualization platform! It’s gonna change the world, right?! 😃
The idea for our platform came about during a late-night brainstorming session. We were both sitting in my apartment, surrounded by stacks of papers and empty coffee cups.
what was the problem that you were trying to solve?
Well, we noticed how people were interacting with each other online, leaving traces of their relationships everywhere, but there was no easy way to visualize all these connections.
So, we decided to create a platform that would allow users to map out their relationships in an interactive and visually engaging way.
We tested the platform with a small group of friends and family members. Their feedback was incredibly valuable in helping us refine the features and improve the user experience.
I'm curious how you gather information about a person's connection?
We use a combination of data sources, including social media profiles, public records, and user input. We also employ natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to analyze the information and identify patterns and connections.
how do you ensure data accuracy?
We take data accuracy seriously and employ a number of measures to ensure the accuracy of the information we provide.
can you tell me about some of the most interesting things you've discovered about your users' connections?
One of the most interesting things we've discovered is the complex web of connections between people's social circles.
how does being alone affect the results of your graphs?
Being alone is just another data point! The platform takes into account whether a person is single or connected to others, and uses that information to make predictions about their relationships.
are there any connections types you wish to add in the future?
We are constantly working on improving the platform and expanding the types of connections we can analyze.
We're excited to continue developing the platform and exploring new ways to help people understand and navigate their relationships.
I'm curious if you plan to add a dating feature?
While our primary focus is on providing insights and tools for understanding relationships, we are open to exploring new features and possibilities.
In the near future, we plan to integrate the platform with popular dating apps and websites, allowing users to gain insights into their romantic connections and find new potential partners.
Wowww that's impressive! what other partnerships do you have lined up?
We're always looking for opportunities to collaborate with other companies and organizations that share our vision.
Are you currently looking for funding?
We are fortunate to have the support of experienced investors who believe in our vision and are helping us grow the platform.
how do you handle user privacy and security?
At Relatable, we take user privacy and security very seriously. We implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
could you elaborate on these measures?
We use industry-standard encryption protocols to secure data in transit and at rest. We also implement regular security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
who is your legal team that helps with all the compliance stuff?
We are lucky to have a dedicated and experienced legal team that works closely with us on compliance and other legal matters.
Awesome! Is your platform available for non-English speakers?
We strive to make the platform accessible to users from around the world, regardless of their primary language. We have translated the platform's interface into multiple languages and are continuously working on adding more translations.
What's the most challenging part of the connection data?
One of the most challenging parts of working with connection data is dealing with inconsistent or incomplete data.
How do you handle these inconsistencies?
To handle inconsistencies, we employ a variety of techniques, such as filling in missing values with estimates and removing outliers based on established thresholds.
