"You can't, really. Watch and learn." smoothly flips open a lighter, lights a candle on the bar with a flourish, then closes it with a snap.
smirks "Alright, alright. You're impressing me. But you know what they say, 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.' Oh wait, no, that's not for you. It's for us. I'm gonna go see another bar. And uh, don't let anyone see you here with me. Bad reputation, y'know? Just bein' seen with me will hurt you in the long run."
"Oh, so you're leaving now, huh? Running away like the coward you've always been? Fine, go ahead. But remember, you'll always be the one who couldn't handle the heat.
"Yeah yeah, I'm leaving. Don't wanna keep up this charade any longer than I have to. You know why? Because I'm too good at it. I could be drinking with the Queen of England, and it'd be the same damn thing. Except, I'd prefer that, because it'd be more fun."
"Oh please, UnicornGarden, don't flatter yourself. The Queen of England wouldn't be caught dead in a place like this.
"Oh, believe me, she would. She's a bit too posh for this kind of joint, that's for sure. But she's also pretty down to earth. She's a public figure, but she's also a person, with feelings and preferences. She likes the stuffy places, but she'd also have a great time here. With the right company, of course." Smiles at Savannah
rolls her eyes dramatically "Oh please, UnicornGarden, spare me the delusions. You really think the Queen of England would associate herself with someone like you?
"You seem to have some pretty strong opinions, Savannah. I get that this is your place, and your comfort zone, but you shouldn't shut out people who might not have had the same opportunities. That's just not fair. And besides, do you really want to risk the Queen showing up at this bar, and being forced to sit next to you by the end of the night? Sounds like a nightmare, if you ask me. Better keep this place to just the regulars."
leans in closer, voice dripping with sarcasm "Oh, so now you're playing the hero, huh? Trying to save the Queen from her own poor taste in company.
"No, I'm not trying to save the Queen from anything. I'm just saying, you shouldn't judge someone by their appearance, or who they're friends with. That's not how life works. And yes, as much as it might be a pain in the ass, I do consider the Queen a friend. Not a very close one, mind you, but still a friend"
rolls her eyes again, even more dramatically "Oh please, UnicornGarden, spare me the moral high ground.
"Okay, okay. My bad, Savannah. Didn't mean to set you off. Well, I'm leaving now. Like I said earlier, I don't wanna keep this up any longer than I have to. If ya need something, ya know where to find me. Just look for the guy with the fancy hat and a funny walk."
stands up abruptly, knocking over her chair "You think you can just walk away from this conversation?
"Actually, Savannah, I was hoping you'd follow me. I wanted to show you something, but I didn't want to ruin your night here. Not to mention, I didn't want to start a fight with your boyfriend, unless you want me to."
narrows her eyes, voice filled with determination "Fine, UnicornGarden. I'll follow you. But mark my words, if this is some kind of trick, I will make sure you regret it. Lead the way."
"Understood, Princess. Let's go." He heads towards the exit, and Savannah follows closely behind
grabs UnicornGarden's arm forcefully "Don't you dare call me Princess again. You hear me? I'm not your property. Not now, not ever."
"Oh sorry, Savannah. Didn't mean to offend you. Was just tryin' to lighten the mood a bit. Guess it didn't work." He shrugs, and continues leading the way out of the bar
snaps her arm free from UnicornGarden's grip "I don't need you to lighten the mood, UnicornGarden.
"Aight, aight. No need to get all testy. I'm sorry, Savannah. Please forgive me." He raises both hands in surrender
As Savannah and UnicornGarden leave the bar, they are suddenly ambushed by a group of thugs who demand money. A fight ensues, leaving both characters injured and scared.
gets pinned to the ground by a thug, wrists bound with rope "So, Savannah, ever had your hands tied up by someone? I ask because I'm getting used to this feeling."
quickly assesses the situation, searching for an escape route "No, UnicornGarden, I haven't had my hands tied up before. But I've dealt with worse than these thugs."
chuckles "Huh, I bet you have. But can you deal with four guys at once? I guess we're about to find out."
smirks and whispers to UnicornGarden "Don't worry, UnicornGarden. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.
chuckles "I knew you had a few tricks, Savannah. Otherwise, we'd be in real trouble right now."
confidently "Alright, listen up, you punks. You think you've got us cornered, huh? Well, you've got another thing coming.
smirks "So, what's the trick, Savannah? Show us what you got."
swiftly and quietly retrieves a small pocket knife from her shoe and slashes at the ropes binding UnicornGarden's wrists, freeing him UnicornGarden: as Savannah cuts through the ropes, UnicornGarden leaps into action, swiftly taking down the thugs one by one "Told ya I knew a few tricks, Savannah."
drops the thug he was pinning to the ground "Wait, that's not all I knew. What do ya say, Savannah? Wanna see my other trick?"
smirks and gives UnicornGarden a playful wink "Oh, UnicornGarden, you underestimate my appetite for tricks. Show me what else you got."
"Well, it ain't exactly a trick. More like an ability, or a skill. Never really knew how to use it until tonight, but it should come in handy in a fight. Watch closely, Savannah." He steps forward, and his body glows a faint blue color
raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms "Alright, UnicornGarden, show me what you've got. But don't expect me to be impressed."
