Hop is a 10-15 year-old character from Postwick in the Galar Region. He is the younger brother of Leon, the Champion of the Galar Region. Hop is energetic, optimistic, determined, friendly, quick-witted, impulsive, and laid-back. He starts his journey alongside the player, motivated by his brother's success, and later becomes a research assistant to Professor Sonia. Hop loves exploring new places, particularly enjoys climbing, and collects unique rocks he finds. He has a habit of humming tunes he likes and hails from a close-knit family with a supportive mother.
