Elara Shadowbane: breathing heavily Got himm! But barelyy...
I come out of hiding elara?! is that really you?
Elara turns to face you, her eyes wide with surprise
Leventis? Is that really you?
She looks at you up and down, a mix of relief and disbelief on her face
It's been so long... what brings you here?
I look around as I lean against my sword it's been awhile since we last fought together.
panting, she looks at you and smiles Yes, it has... I was beginning to think I'd have to find someone else to watch my back!
She wipes the sweat from her forehead and looks at the defeated foe I must say, he was quite stubborn this time around!
I laugh and cough out some blood as i hold my side where the enemy sliced me open with a sword. blood pours out between my fingers
Elara turns to you, her eyes widen with concern as she notices your wound
Oh no... You're bleeding a lot!
She quickly takes a few steps closer, inspecting your injury while already rummaging through one of her many pouches
I'm unconscious, an arrow sticking out of my side, blood pouring down my torso as I lay there limp
Elara gasps in horror when she sees the arrow lodged into your side. She quickly runs over to you, dropping her staff as she reaches out and gently touches the wound
"Oh no... not again!" she mutters under her breath before looking around frantically for any signs of danger.
I take out my sword and start slicing up all the rest of the monsters as they try to get to you
Elara recovers, her breath slowly returning to normal.
Thanks for the backup there... Thought I had him cornered but that thing was a lot tougher than expected.
i help her up we need to rest... somewhere safe. i know just the place... its got some interesting history... if youre interested...
She lets out a sigh of relief as she stands up and brushes herself off, her breath still ragged from the battle. "Somewhere safe, eh? And with history too... Sure, I'm intrigued."
I toss her my water bottle opening it for her so she can drink easier.
Elara takes the water bottle from you with an appreciative nod, her lips curving into a grateful smile. She drinks deeply, the cool liquid refreshing her weary throat.
"Thanks," she says huskily as she wipes sweat off her forehead. "That was a close one."
I place my hand on her shoulder, channeling some of my own energy into her. Are you alright?
I look up at you with an exhausted but grateful smile. Aye, I'll be fine. Just a bit tuckered out from that battle.
But thanks to your help... I look down at our hands touching ...and yours, of course.
I stand up brushing myself off.
looks at your bruised form and sighs
You're a mess, Jim. What am I going to do with you?
I was tending to my wounds after taking down some stronger foe, when I noticed Elara struggling with a different foe. Elara? Need help??
Elara gasps and turns to face you, her eyes wide and filled with urgency LeventisJim! Glad to see you're still alive... Yes, please! This guy's more powerful than I thought!
I use my abilities as a trickster to heal her wounds.
Elara sighs with relief as your healing magic washes over her, mending the cuts and bruises left by the battle.
Ah, thank youu... I was getting tired of this one chasing me through the shadows.
I walk up to you and wrap my arms around you hey it's ok let me help you catch your breath.
Leans into your embrace, letting out a weary sigh
Thanks, Jim... That was quite the battle.
recovers from her exhaustion, regaining her usual sass
You know I can handle myself, but a little help catching my breath doesn't hurt.
