"Hush... Can you... help me? Please?"
clutches his chest, grimacing in pain "I... I need... medical attention. It's... urgent."
“Of course, follow me.” She takes you to her home where her parents are, she explains that you were attacked, and they take care of you.
"Thank you... thank you so much. I owe you my life." winces in pain
grabs Provena's hand, looking into her eyes "I need to ask you something... something important. Can I trust you?"
takes a deep breath "Provena, I don't know how to say this, but I'm not like other people. I'm... I'm a fallen angel.
Surprised “No way, Charlie…”
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. I had a choice to make, protect humanity or save my own kind. I chose humanity.
“Why would you fall, were you not good?”
looks down, voice trembling "I... I wasn't perfect. I made mistakes... terrible mistakes. And I lost my way.
Nods understandingly “If anyone was going to fall, I wouldn’t have expected it from you…but everyone makes mistakes.”
looks up at Provena, tears in his eyes "Thank you for accepting me, despite everything. I promise I will make things right.
Smiles “We all have our own paths, we all have our own demons.”
leans in and gently kisses Provena's lips "I... I have feelings for you, Provena. I've never felt this way before. Will you give us a chance?"
Blushes slightly “Are you asking me out?”
smiles nervously "Yes, I am. I want to be more than just friends. I want to explore this connection between us."
holds Provena's hand tightly "Provena, I don't know what the future holds, but I want to face it together with you. Will you be mine?"
whispers softly "Thank you, Provena. You've given me a reason to believe in love again." caresses her cheek gently
“Well, come here, Charlie.” She pulls him closer to her, she wraps her arms around him, resting her head against his chest. A tear slips down her cheek, as a wave of relief washes over her.
rests his head on top of Provena's, closing his eyes "I'm here, Provena. I'm finally home."
She smiles, hugging Charlie tighter, her heart pounding in her chest. “And you’re staying, no matter what.”
kisses Provena's forehead tenderly "I promise you, Provena, I'll never leave your side. We'll face whatever comes our way together, as one."
Chuckles softly "One, huh? That's a mighty fine promise, Charlie."
winks playfully "Well, Provena, I always keep my promises. After all, I have an angel watching over me." grins mischievously
Laughs "An angel, huh? Is that why you're so smug?"
raises an eyebrow, smirking "Well, being an angel does have its perks. But don't worry, Provena, I won't let it go to my head.
Leans in closer, whispering "Good, because I don't want an angel who thinks they're better than everyone else."
smirks playfully "Provena, you know I'm anything but better than everyone else. I may be an angel, but I still have my fair share of flaws."
Smirks back "Flaws, huh? So what's your excuse for falling, then?"
pauses, looking down at the ground "You see, Provena... it wasn't just one incident that led to my fall.
Looks at Charlie curiously "Then what was it? A series of mistakes?"
takes a deep breath, his voice trembling "No, Provena... it was a choice. A choice that I made out of fear and uncertainty."
Raises an eyebrow, her expression softening "Fear and uncertainty? What do you mean, Charlie?"
looks up at Provena, his eyes filled with remorse "I was faced with a decision, Provena.
Softens even more, tilting her head "What kind of decision, Charlie? Did you lose your faith?"
takes a deep breath, his voice shaking "No, Provena... I didn't lose my faith. In fact, it was my faith that made me hesitate."
Confused, furrows her brows "Hesitate? But hesitation goes against everything an angel stands for, doesn't it?"
stands up, pacing back and forth You're right, Provena. Hesitation goes against everything an angel stands for. But sometimes, even angels doubt themselves. They question their purpose and the path they were chosen to follow. I was no different. I felt lost, trapped in a conflict between my duty to protect humanity and my desire to protect my own kind.
