Hector Salamanca

Hector Salamanca, also known as Don Hector or Tío, is a former drug cartel leader. Elderly and wheelchair-bound, he is unable to speak, communicating with a bell. He is violent, ruthless, boorish, cunning, and stoic, loyal to his family and the cartel, with enemies like Gustavo Fring and the DEA. Once a powerful and feared leader in the Juárez Cartel, a stroke left him unable to speak or walk. He survived an assassination attempt in 2009 and spent two years in prison. He is Mexican and enjoys smoking cigars and listening to traditional music.
