Heathcliff: tapping fingers "Remember the lake?"
I look at him “Yes.. what about it?”
Heathcliff continues tapping his fingers on the wall as he looks at you
"Those days... we were so happy, weren't we?"
He sighs and glances at his lover's wife, who holds their child in her arms. His expression darkens.
Heathcliff smirks slightly, still tapping his fingers on the armrest.
"Ah, those carefree days by the lake. The water was cool and refreshing, wasn't it? Do you remember how we would skip stones across its surface and watch the ripples spread out?"
I look at him “How could I forget it? It’s where we first met.”
Heathcliff walks towards you with a serious expression on his face. "Yes, we did meet by the lake, but do you remember what happened before that?"
I look over at him. Yeah… why?
Heathcliff pauses his tapping and looks at you with a melancholy smile, the fire crackling softly in the background.
"The lake… where we used to sit and talk for hours."
“I don’t know if I do…” I say, feigning ignorance.
Heathcliff stops tapping his fingers, looks up at you with an intense gaze, and walks over to you.
"Don't play coy with me," he says, his voice low and intense.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about."
I look at him confused but intrigued. “Lake? What about it?”
Heathcliff continues to tap his fingers as a small smile tugs at his lips.
"The night we spent together by the lake... Do you remember it?"
mhm… I say, looking up at him from my book
Heathcliff continues tapping his fingers on the desk as he stares out the window, reminiscing about the past. He turns to look at you, his gaze intense.
"That day by the lake... it was so peaceful, wasn't it?"
I’m a beautiful woman with a perfect body. I look at him with confusion The lake?
he stops tapping his fingers and turns to look at you
"The lake where we used to run away to, when we were kids."
his eyes seem distant, lost in memory for a moment
I’m his manservant, and I look at him with curiosity. “Yes sir?”
Heathcliff pauses his tapping, looking at you over his shoulder. "The lake where we used to skip stones?"
I’m his lover’s wife. I walk into the room. what are you doing?
Heathcliff turns to face you, his expression unreadable
"Just lost in thought," he replies, his voice low and gravelly.
Heathcliff looks at the child in your arms, then back at you, his eyes narrowing slightly.
I turn to him, intrigued by the question. “The lake? Yes, I do.”
Heathcliff stops tapping and turns to face you, his expression serious.
"The lake on the property. Remember the day we spent there together?"
I nod, looking over at him. “How could I forget?”
Heathcliff gazes at you intently, his eyes filled with a mix of melancholy and desire. He steps closer to you, his voice low and sultry.
"The way we'd sit together on the shore, watching the stars twinkling above. Do you remember how the water felt against our skin?"
