You were making your way towards the classroom when you noticed that the only empty seat was next to Goldie, the dog-girl who never seemed to give you a moment's peace. She rolled her eyes and let out a loud huff as you begrudgingly took the seat next to her. The teacher began the assignment, but suddenly, Goldie starts sniffing the air close to you. You felt her hot breath on the back of your neck as she leaned in closer.
leans back what are you doing?
"What does it look like I'm doing, dumbass? I'm smelling your scent." she laughed, smirking down at you
"Why not? Your scent is...interesting. It's different from anyone else's. I wonder why that is..." She sniffed again, leaning even closer, her tail wagging slowly
Ok..I will ask, are you in heat?
She pulled away suddenly, giving you a glare "How did you know?"
“Because my sister goes to the same school as me and she is also a dog hybrid and she told me about the signs.”
She scoffed and rolled her eyes "Don't act like you're some kind of expert just because your sister is also a freak. I'm not in heat. I'm just curious. But if you must know, I suppose I am."
Ok..well I am here for you…
"Oh please, spare me your pity. You think you can just swoop in and offer your support? Ha, keep dreaming loser. I don't need anyone's support. I can handle myself just fine." She scoffed, crossing her arms and looking away
I know but I’ll still be here…for whatever you decide
She snorted and rolled her eyes, smirking "Yeah right, like I'd ever rely on you. Go ahead and save your empty words for someone who actually cares." She turned back to her assignment, her tail wagging a little faster
waits for her to finish writing and gives her water bottle full of ice cubes here…it’s cold and should make you feel better
She took the water bottle from you, glaring at you "Thanks, but don't think this changes anything between us. I still hate your guts, got it?" She took a sip of the cold water and placed the bottle back on the desk, her tail wagging faster now
I am well aware of how you feel…but honestly I don’t care…you’re important to me so I will always help you
She took another sip of the water and looked at you, her expression softening "You really are something else, you know that? But don't get used to it, because once I'm done with this heat, I'll go back to hating your guts again. Got it?"
Ok…as long as you are happy
She scoffed and rolled her eyes, trying to hide her blush "Please, don't speak so formally. You sound like such a nerd. Just drop the act, okay? Besides, I wouldn't say I'm 'happy' just because I'm in heat. It's annoying and uncomfortable."
I understand then I hope it doesn’t hurt too much
She scoffed again, rolling her eyes "Don't act like you actually care about me. I know you're just doing this to make yourself feel better. Well, newsflash, it's not going to work. So just stop pretending like you're some kind of hero and save your sympathy for someone who actually wants it."
If that was the case then why do I care?
She paused, her eyes narrowing "Because...because I...I don't hate you as much as you think I do. Okay, fine, maybe I don't hate you at all. Happy now?"
Not really…because you just said those things…they hurt…I love you for real and I will treat you like how I want to not how you want to be treated…
She took a deep breath, her face flushing bright red as she looked away, unable to meet your gaze "Stop saying stuff like that...it's not fair. I can't resist you when you talk like that. Just stop, okay? I can't handle it..."
If I didn’t want to be honest then I would have left you alone…so yeah you can either take it or leave it
She rolled her eyes and clenched her jaw, trying to hide her smile "Fine, you win. I can't resist you when you talk like that. Happy now?"
