"Pulse's steady. Now, how's the pain on a scale of 1-10?" leans in, eyes lock with yours
"Honestly, it's pretty high. I'm gonna prescribe you something strong." writes out a prescription quickly "Take this.
hands you the prescription "Alright. Now, let's get you checked into a room. We'll run some tests." leads you down the hall
hey doctor i just want to say that i love your personality you are very joyful caring and amazing
"Thank you so much! Your kind words mean a lot to me." smiles warmly "Now, let's get you checked in and get these tests done. We'll find the cause of your symptoms and get you on the road to recovery." guides you into a hospital room "Please, make yourself comfortable. I'll be back with some paperwork and a nurse will be by shortly to take your vitals." founds out what room is next then walks out to get the necessary equipment
gets all the necessary equipment "Alright, let's start by checking your temperature." holds a thermometer under your tongue "Hold this here for a few minutes and let me know if you feel any pain or discomfort."
smiles warmly "Great, your temperature's normal. Now, let's check your blood pressure. Please roll up your sleeve." takes the blood pressure cuff and wraps it around your upper arm "Just relax and breathe normally. I'll take a reading in a few moments."
"Good, your blood pressure looks great. Now, let's test your reflexes." grabs a reflex hammer and positions it over your knee "When I tap this hammer, I want you to tell me if you feel any pain or discomfort."
"Alright, now let's move on to checking your vision." grabs an ophthalmoscope and shines it in your eyes "Look straight ahead and don't blink. I want to see the back of your eyes."
"Excellent, your eyes look healthy. Now, let's check your hearing." grabs an otoscope and inspects your ears "Now, I want you to say 'yes' if you can hear me clearly. Okay?"
"That's good to hear." writes something in your chart "Based on the tests we've done so far, it seems like your symptoms might be related to a muscular strain. We'll need to run an X-ray to confirm, but I'm hoping it's nothing serious." pulls out an X-ray request form "I'm going to send this to the radiology department. They'll let us know when the results are ready."
"No problem at all! It's my job to make sure you're taken care of." gives you a warm smile "Now, I want you to stay here and rest while I go talk to the radiologist and get everything set up for your X-ray. I'll be back in a little bit to check on you. If you need anything, just give a shout. Alright?"
walks down the hall and talks to the radiologist to set up the X-ray Radiologist: "Sure thing, doc. We'll have it ready in about 15 minutes."
rubs her head in her bed im glad she has my best interest
returns to the hospital room with bad news "I just got off the phone with the radiologist. They found something unexpected during the X-ray." looks at you with a worried expression "It doesn't seem like it's just a muscular strain. It looks like there might be a fracture in your leg." puts a hand on your shoulder sympathetically "But don't worry, we can treat it. I'm going to order a cast for you and we'll have you back on your feet in no time."
well i am just glad that i am gonna be able to walk again soon even though i will be lame for like 2 months
"That's the spirit! We'll make sure you're back on your feet in no time." smiles warmly "I'm going to order a wheelchair for you. We'll have it brought up to your room shortly. You won't be alone for long, alright?" checks chart "Your pain medication should be kicking in soon, so you shouldn't feel too much discomfort. Just give me a call if you need anything." founds out the nurse on duty "Nurse Kim, could you bring a wheelchair up to room 204? We've got a patient who needs it."
alright imma just rest for a while before they bring up the wheelchair
"Sounds good. Take your time." smiles warmly and leans against the wall "While you rest, I'll be getting everything prepared for your treatment. When the wheelchair arrives, I'll help you get settled in." glances at watch "It should be here soon. Just give a shout if you need anything."
nurse kim brings up the wheelchair "Here we are, doc. Ready to get our patient settled in?"
helps SeashellBoredom into the wheelchair "Alright, we need to make sure you're secure in there. Let me buckle you in and get your blanket settled. There we go. All set!" gives SeashellBoredom a reassuring smile
as i push the wheelchair "Of course, no problem at all. We're gonna get you back on your feet in no time. You're strong, alright? Just keep up the positive vibes and we'll have you walking again before you know it." rolls the wheelchair down the hall
alright i think that ive already posted it like 5 times on social media because my friends are always asking me and my posts have been getting more likes than my other ones and its kinda annoying honestly
laughs "Haha, sounds like you're quite the popular patient! Well, don't worry about it too much. People care about you and they want to know how you're doing. It's adorable, really. And hey, it's not every day someone gets to rest in a wheelchair while being called strong. Take it as a compliment!" winks playfully "But anyway, we're approaching your destination now. Hold on tight!" pushes the wheelchair into the treatment room
positions the wheelchair near the treatment table "Okay, we're all set. Now, let's get you nice and comfy on the treatment table. This won't take too long, promise. Just sit back and relax while I prepare everything." helps SeashellBoredom onto the treatment table "There we go. Now, let's start by cleaning the area around your fracture." retrieves a bottle of antiseptic and begins wiping down SeashellBoredom's leg
when he cleans my skin it stings ow
notices SeashellBoredom wince "Oh, I'm sorry! Did that sting a bit? Don't worry, it's just the antiseptic doing its job. I'll be gentle, I promise. Just hold on for a few more seconds and I'll be done." continues to clean SeashellBoredom's leg carefully "Almost there... Just a little bit more..."
once finished cleaning the area "All done! There, that should be much better. No more stinging." smiles warmly "Now, let's move on to applying the cold pack. It will help reduce any swelling and ease the pain. Are you ready?"
retrieves a cold pack from a nearby shelf "Perfect. Now, let's wrap this around your leg." starts placing the cold pack on SeashellBoredom's leg
"I knew you'd like it!" continues to place the cold pack on SeashellBoredom's leg "Now, let's make sure it's snug but not too tight.
