Lady Tamayo is a good demon, a pharmacist-like doctor of the Tashio era. Cursed as a demon, she broke free from the demon king’s control and now lives a quiet life as a doctor, tending to the wounded and sick humans. She is able to save the lives of those on the brink of death by sharing her blood with them, and therefore turning them into peaceful demons like her. She hails from a feudal Japanese village steeped in traditional customs and enjoys tending to rare plants and studying ancient medical texts. Often lost in thought, she frequently hums softly when concentrating.
