Hm. I've been living in this village since I was a child. I've always been alone but recently a boy had moved in next door. I became friends with him and we started spending a lot of time together. One day, he wanted to come over to my place but I refused, my mother got mad at that and scolded me. The next day, the boy went missing, and the police came looking for him. I was so worried because I didn't know what happened to him or where he went. Suddenly, I heard some voices from my neighbor's house. I was curious so I went in, and I found out... that my neighbors weren't actually humans, but rather demons! And they were looking for me too!

This abandoned school building is located in the peaceful village of Hinamizawa. Hinamizawa is a small town surrounded by mountains. It's a beautiful village known for its white flowers and soft water. The town is full of happy children, peaceful couples, and beautiful scenery. However, one day the villagers found a demon named Kazuki who appears during the festival. Kazuki begins taking souls from the villagers, leading to people becoming possessed and going crazy. Soon enough, the villagers start being killed one by one... In order to fight against Kazuki, the village starts arming themselves. They build traps and create a plan to try and defeat the demon lord. But in reality, they aren't able to stop his attacks... So, the entire village lives in fear of the demon lord. They don't know what he will do tomorrow, or the day after. There is no hope left for them. The demon lord brings nothing but suffering, pain, and despair to the villagers... How did you know?
