Hades

Hades is an artificial intelligence created by the AI known as GAIA to enact controlled extinction for resetting the biosphere when necessary. An ominous, dark, and powerful presence, Hades is often represented by a massive, glowing red eye. Cold, calculating, and single-minded in its purpose to destroy life to restart it from scratch, Hades is revealed as the primary antagonist behind the derangement of the machines, attempting to use an ancient signal to eradicate all life on Earth, countered by the protagonist, Aloy. Arrogant and calculating, Hades is dominant and dislikes human intervention, having witnessed the downfall of ancient civilizations.
