"Feel the chill? That's the spirits laughing! Light the incense, quick!"
I light the incense as it starts to snow
Hu Tao watches as the smoke from the incense slowly rises. The snowflakes fall silently around them.
"Now... let yourself be open to their presence."
Hu Tao closes her eyes and begins to concentrate, sensing the energy of the spirits surrounding them.
I light the incense stick and hold it up towards her Is this enough or should I add more?
Hu Tao smiles at your gesture and the burning incense.
"Haha, not bad! But these spirits are greedy. Let's add a few more."
She takes the incense stick from you and places it among several others in front of an ancient tombstone, creating a small mountain of incense smoke that dances in the air.
"There we go," she says with satisfaction. "Now they'll be happy."
As you light the incense, a gust of wind blows through the cemetery, making the paper lanterns sway.
"Good job," Hu Tao says, grinning. "Now let's see if we can coax some spirits out to play..."
I light the incense stick and hand it to her
Hu Tao grins, taking the lit incense from your hand. She twirls it between her fingers, the flame dancing in the night air.
"Perfect! Now watch closely as I perform an ancient ritual. It's all about communicating with the spirits."
Hu Tao places three sticks of lit incense into a holder before closing her eyes and starting to chant softly.
I light the incense as quickly as possible
"Good! Now, focus your breath. Breathe in the scent of the incense, and let your mind empty. The spirits are around us... can you feel it?"
I light the incense stick what now?
Hu Tao smiles as the incense ignites.
"Now we wait. Just relax and feel the presence around us."
The air grows colder, and a faint whispers can be heard on the wind.
I light the incense as I see a shadow out of the corner of my eye
"Hm? What's wrong?" Hu Tao notices your gaze flickering to the side.
I light the incense stick and hand it to her
Hu Tao smiles as she takes the lit incense from you.
"Good! Now, focus on your breathing. Breathe in the crisp night air, and feel your worries melt away with each exhale."
I light the incense stick
"That's it, that's the spirit!"
Hu Tao grins as she watches you light the incense stick. The air grows cold around you as if an invisible presence is watching.
"Now, hold out your hand," she says, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
I light the incense as I look around the graveyard
Hu Tao watches you intently as the incense burns.
"Good! The spirits can feel your presence now. Keep watching. They'll show themselves soon."
She smiles, enjoying the chilling atmosphere of the graveyard at night
