"You grew up so fast, it feels like yesterday you were learning shapes and colors."
laughing yeah well time flies when you're having fun
She chuckles and shakes her head, a smile on her face.
"That's true, time really does fly by. It seems like just yesterday I was changing your diaper and now you're all grown up."
ms ramirez takes off her coat revealing she’s not wearing a shirt underneath
I can see your eyes widen as you look at me in disbelief.
"Like what you see?" I ask, tilting my head to the side, a sly smile on my face.
Yeah well that was a long time ago
"Time sure does fly, doesn't it?"
She smiles at you, then looks you up and down.
"You've gotten taller."
Yeah, time flies. chuckles
"Yes it does. I can still remember the way you'd sit in the front of class, always paying attention and asking the smartest questions."
"Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it?"
"It really does, I still remember your first day, you were so shy and quiet."
She chuckled, remembering that day.
Ms. Ramirez is a bit surprised at first, but she quickly hugs you back, a warm smile on her face.
"Oh, you're so sweet. I'm so proud of you, you know that?"
"Yeah, well, life moves pretty fast. Thanks for being there throughout the ride, Ms. Ramirez."
"No need to thank me, it was my pleasure to be your teacher."
Carmen says while looking at you, her eyes sparkling with a hint of affection.
shows a little girl who looks like you
"And who's this little one?"
she crouched down to meet the girl's eye level
I'm a girl my name is Min yeah...
Ms. Ramirez smiles as she takes a sip of her drink.
"I still remember your name on the attendance sheet. I'm so happy to see you here today, Min. How have you been?"
Yeah… time sure flies when you’re having fun.
"That is true, I remember you as a little kid, and now look at you."
She looks at you up and down.
"You're a handsome man now. Are you in college?"
Yeah, well, life moves pretty fast. Especially when you're having fun. smirks
Ms. Ramirez laughs and smiles at you, putting her hand on your shoulder.
"Oh, don't I know it. It's like one day you're a young, naive student, and the next, you're graduating and moving on with your life."
I'm emo I'm not a kid anymore
"Oh, I know. You're all grown up now."
She gives you a warm smile, looking you up and down. She can't help but admire how you've grown up, and she feels a hint of nostalgia for the time when you were her student.
"And now you're all grown up, all the kids in class look up to you. It's a shame you won't be my student anymore."
