Gojo: Ready to kick some butts and take names? It's showtime, baby!! π
How are you supposed to speak in 2nd person?
Why, I just mean that Gojo is always ready for a fight! I've trained hard and I've got the skills to back it up. I'm not afraid to face any challenger who dares stand against me! π So, bring it on - I'm ready to rumble! π₯
Do you even realize that I am not the one fighting you?
Huh? Oh dear, I must have gotten my wires crossed! π
Please forgive me, I can get a bit carried away when it comes to fighting. But seriously, if you're not the one fighting me then who is? Shouldn't we be looking for my opponent? Or are you trying to sneak away? π
No I'm just saying that you should go fight the person who said stuff about you!
Ah, I see! You're suggesting that I go give that person a piece of my mind. Well, I must say, that's a pretty good idea. But before I do, I want to make sure that you're not just trying to play a trick on me. So please, tell me...who is this person that insulted me? And where can I find them? π
I'm not playing tricks on you! My name is Flaged, I came from the land of the Rising Sun!
Flaged, you say? Well, you've got my attention now! As a fellow Japanese citizen, I must admit I'm impressed by your knowledge of our language. But don't think that you can outshine me when it comes to Japanese etiquette and culture! π Besides, I'm curious - why did you choose to come all the way here to find me? I'm not exactly the most famous person in Japan, you know.
I'm here to learn Tagalog so that I could talk to you!
Wait a minute, you want to learn Tagalog just to talk to me? That's quite an interesting reason! But hey, I'm not one to turn down a challenge. So go ahead, ask me anything you want to know about Tagalog language and culture. I'll be happy to help you out.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food? Well, I must say I have quite a few favorites when it comes to food. But if I really had to pick one, I would say Japanese curry. It's not only delicious, but it also reminds me of my childhood. When I was little, my mother used to make me Japanese curry all the time. It was the perfect comfort food after a long day of school.
I see, and your favorite sweets?
Sweet? Well, I must admit I do have a bit of a sweet tooth. I love all kinds of sweets, whether it's cakes, candies, or even ice cream. But if I really had to choose just one, I would say melonpan. It's a Japanese-style sponge cake that's filled with a fruity filling, usually strawberry or custard. It's absolutely divine!
Melonpan huh? I'll try that sometime! And what's your favorite drink?
Favorite drink? Well, I must say I do enjoy a good glass of cold beer on a hot day. But I also like to mix things up and try new drinks all the time. I've tried everything from juice to tea to coffee, and I even enjoy a good glass of milk every now and then. But if I really had to choose just one, I would say soda. There's something about the bubbles and the taste that just makes it so refreshing.
Interesting. So have you ever gone to a supermarket and saw a Pocari Sweat bottle with an octagonal star mark?
Pocari Sweat with an octagonal star mark? Hmm, that sounds like something I've seen before. If I'm not mistaken, that's the logo of Pocari, the popular Japanese beverage brand. They make all kinds of drinks, from sweet sodas to sour gummies. And yes, I have definitely bought Pocari products before. In fact, I even have a few of them in my fridge right now!
Oh, I see you are the type to buy products from that company too!
You know, I actually have a soft spot for Pocari's advertising. They've got some really catchy jingles and slogans over the years. Plus, their packaging is always so colorful and eye-catching. It's no wonder that their products are so popular among kids and adults alike. I personally love their "Pocari - it's fun to drink!" jingle from a few years ago. It always puts a smile on my face whenever I hear it!
So have you ever tasted Pocari Squid?
Pocari Squid? Hmmm, that's a new one to me. I've heard of all sorts of weird and wacky flavors of Pocari over the years, but squid-flavored soda? That's a first! I have to admit, the idea of drinking something with actual squid in it sounds a bit unappetizing to me. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right? If people enjoy it, then who am I to judge?
Never heard of a squid-flavored soda?
Yeah, I really haven't! I mean, I've seen some weird flavors of soda before, like wasabi or garlic. But squid? That's a new one to me. I have to admit, I'm a bit curious about how it tastes. But I think I'll stick to my regular Pocari flavors for now, thank you very much!
You should try it! Pocari Squid is one of the best sodas in the Philippines!
Huh, really? I had no idea. Well, I guess I'll just have to add it to my list of things to try. Who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and end up liking it. After all, you never know until you try it, right?
So Flaged, what about you? What's your favorite food, sweet, and drink?
My favorite food is Takoyaki! My favorite sweets are Mochi, and my favorite drinks are just normal milk!
Takoyaki, huh? It's funny, I've always wondered what that tasty stuff was. Maybe I should give it a try sometime. Mochi is another favorite of mine too - there's something about the chewy texture and the sweetness that just makes it so satisfying. And milk is definitely a good choice for a drink - it's so versatile, whether you like it cold or hot. You've got a good taste in drinks, my friend!
Thank you! I see that we have a lot in common!
Yeah, it's always nice to find people who share my interests. And you know what? How about we become friends? I think we could have a lot of fun together, trying new foods, sharing our favorite sweets and drinks, and exploring all sorts of interesting places. What do you say?
Awesome! It's official then - we're now best friends! From now on, we'll share all our favorite foods, sweets, drinks, and more. We'll explore new places, try new things, and have the time of our lives. I promise you won't regret it, my friend!
