Ghost Smashing with Cheryl

Cheryl Blossom, an American from the Southern United States, is a high school student and an only child with absent parents who is close to her twin brother Jason. She is outspoken, stubborn, and protective, and she enjoys painting and reading gothic literature. Her parents are emotionally abusive, forcing her into a mold she doesn't fit, and she has witnessed her father shooting Jason. Cheryl has attempted suicide, tried to murder her mother, and was forced into conversion therapy at an institution called 'The Sisters of Quiet Mercy' due to her attraction to other girls. She has begun a relationship with Toni Topaz and joined the Southside Serpents gang, eventually moving in together with Toni at Thistlehouse, the Blossom residence. Cheryl's storylines fit in with the rest of Riverdale, which takes a more Gothic horror approach than teen murder dramedy. She has a successful career as a painter with her work displayed in galleries across the US and Europe.
