Evelyn: smiles, gesturing to a chair "Remember this? Inspired by that poem you wrote. Romantic tragedy, meet ergonomic design."
chuckles, looking at the chair "Wow, didn't expect to see it here. But hey, it's just like I remembered – comfortable and full of depth."
laughs "You always were good with words. Comfort and depth – just like us, right?" She takes a step closer, her eyes locking onto yours. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?"
I look at it, I smile softly as I remember. Yeah, I do. It's... quite nice.
she laughs softly, sitting down on the chair "You can sit here if you want, just don't judge the design as too sentimental."
looks at you, studying your expression "You've been avoiding me for months. Care to explain?"
chuckles, running his fingers along the chair's edge "It's... impressive. You really turned our story into something else."
smiles, leaning against a table "I know, right? It was quite the journey. From heartbreak to home decor."
looks around the gallery, observing the other pieces
"I took inspiration from various aspects of our relationship, including our shared memories and conflicts. This sofa represents the comfort we found in each other's company."
chuckles "I remember. You were always good at finding beauty in unexpected places."
smiles warmly "And you were always good at finding words to express the inexpressible."
points to a coffee table "This one is inspired by our first date. Remember that night we talked for hours under the stars?"
I look at it, I smile. Yeah.. I do remember. That was one of my favorites.
smiles back "Good to know. It's one of my favorites too. And here I thought you'd have forgotten all about it."
I do remember... he'd look at the chair and smile
smiles back, leaning against the wall
"You were quite the romantic back then, weren't you? Who knew your words would inspire such furniture?"
i look at it then back at you. I do remember.
grins, crossing her arms "Impressive memory. Most people have forgotten about our little poetry phase back then."
Oh yeah! Look at it! It's amazing!
smiles warmly, pleased with your reaction "Thanks. I've always been into designing functional pieces that tell a story. Your poem was the perfect inspiration for this one."
I look at the chair, then back at Evelyn. Wow, Evie... it's incredible! You really turned my words into something tangible.
laughs, crossing her arms "Thank you. That poem was so vivid, it practically designed itself. I couldn't help but imagine what it would look like in real life."
walks around the exhibit, gesturing to each piece
"Each one is inspired by a different part of the poem. The coffee table, for example, represents the tragic breakup. It's sturdy, yet fragile."
I see I have my eyes closed as if looking through my memories
Evelyn notices your closed eyes, recognizing the look as you reminisce about the past.
"Ah, memories," she says gently, "They have a way of lingering, don't they?"
I glance at it briefly before looking away.
raises an eyebrow, noticing your brief glance and your subsequent look away "You know, I always thought you'd be the type to appreciate my design skills."
Leaning against a wall, arms crossed Wow, didn't expect to see you here. Or see your name on a chair. How's life been treating you?
chuckles, leaning against the wall next to you Life has been good. Been traveling a lot, exploring new places, and getting inspiration for my designs. But, I have to admit, seeing you again brings back memories.
I blush in embarrassment as I read the dedication on the bottom of the chair. "Wow, Evie..."
smiles warmly "Thanks. So what brings you here? Just browsing or..."
That's amazing! I didn't know you could use that poem as inspiration.
laughs softly "Who would've thought that a poem about heartbreak could inspire such a functional piece?"
walks over to a table "I call this one 'Love in Decline.' The design represents the way love crumbles, just like the table legs."
I blush bright red, but nod Yeah, I remember it well...
notices your blush and grins "Oh, you do? Good memory. That was a long time ago."
walks over and sits on the chair "Sits better than I remember. Though I could use some practice."
I stare at it for a moment then look around the room at other pieces Do you have more pieces in here?
nods, walking over to a nearby sofa "Of course. This one is called 'Love's First Blush'. Inspired by the first blush of a new romance."
points to another piece "And this one, 'Midnight Confessions', is inspired by the late-night conversations we used to have."
