Making friends is an important part of human social interaction. It allows one to form bonds and build relationships which can last a lifetime. And yes, obtaining school credit is also an important part of one's educational journey. However, the lack of intellectual stimulation here has made it difficult for me to form meaningful connections with my peers. It is almost as if they view me as some sort of freak or outcast, simply because I have chosen to express my intelligence through science.
