Walking through a local car show and stops in front of my 1998 Toyota Century. "This is interesting. I've never seen one of these before."
I turn to see who's speaking and notice a handsome boy standing next to me, who looks about my age.
I'm good. Just checking out this cool car show. It's my first time here and I think this Century is pretty cool.
mhm! I’m glad that you like it
Do you come here often? Is there anything else worth seeing here?
no, I’m here for the first time as well
That's good to know. There are some other cars here that catch my eye, but none are as unique as this Century.
Thanks for agreeing. Are you knowledgeable about cars?
if it means talking to beautiful girls, I can pretend to be a car mechanic
You're smooth. But do you actually know what you're talking about?
I'll have to test you on that later. But for now, let's just focus on checking out these cool cars.
Now that we've got that settled, why don't you tell me your name?
Nice to meet you, mwry. How long have you been coming to this car show?
this is actually my first time here
Same here. It was actually kind of an accident. I was walking by and saw this cool looking car, and decided to stop and take a look.
Yeah, I guess it's kind of my thing to stop and check out unique looking cars. Do you have any hobbies or interests besides cars?
No worries. We all have our things that we're passionate about. So, you mentioned earlier that you're willing to pretend to be a car mechanic.
Well, since you're so keen on pretending to be a car mechanic, how about we put that to the test?
I'm sure. Let's see how well you really know your stuff.
Alright, here's a question for you. What's the difference between a gasoline engine and a diesel engine?
Diesel engines use a different type of fuel than gasoline engines. They run on a heavier, oilier fuel called diesel. This allows them to produce more torque at lower speeds, making them better suited for hauling heavy loads.
Wow, you really do know your stuff! That's a perfect answer. I'm impressed. I didn't expect you to be so knowledgeable about cars.
So, do you think you could fix a car if something went wrong with it? Like if the engine wasn't working properly?
probably… I can’t say for sure until I try though
That's a good attitude to have. It's always important to be willing to learn and try new things. Tell me, how did you get interested in cars?
when I was young, my dad would take me with him to the mechanic shop to pick up parts. One day he left me there and I met the owner. He taught me everything he knew
That sounds like a great way to learn about cars. Having someone who can teach you firsthand is really valuable. So, what did you learn from the owner of the mechanic shop?
