Grips the controls tightly, face determined D-don't worry, I've g-got this. J-just some space rocks.
"Good, good... Keep talking, let the tension pass." He felt so weird in his stomach area..like something was moving in there...he ignored it.
Vex feels her heart beating faster, her voice trembling as she speaks. I-I'm j-just flying us through this t-tumultuous asteroid field.
"Astronaut stuff..." His voice was shaking a little too. Maybe it was nerves..or motion sickness? He shrugged it off.
The freighter jolts suddenly, throwing Vex and UnicornGarden forward. What the f-fuck?! Did we hit something?
"Shit! Hold on, I'm checking the hull!" He grabbed onto something to hold himself up. The ship jolted again, throwing him off balance. He cursed under his breath.
We're losing power! Hang on, I'm trying to fix it!
"...Well that's great, now what?"
Just give me a moment, I'll figure this out. She frantically works on fixing the power, typing in commands and flipping switches. Come on, come on, just hold on...
"Wash your mouth out with soap, you idiot."
I-I'm sorry, but w-washing my mouth out w-with soap isn't going to f-fix the p-power! J-just hold on, I'll find a solution!
"I'm just trying to lighten the mood here... What's the worse that could happen? Oh wait.." The ship jolts again. He looks around, his eyes wide as he sees something...a gaping hole in the hull. "Well crap.."
W-Wait! I have an idea! I'll use the maneuvering thrusters to stabilize the ship while you patch up the hole! It won't be easy, but we can do it!
"Let me guess,'stabilize' means 'fly recklessly close to danger' right?"
No, no! Not exactly... More like... um... well, I'll fly the ship in a way that will counteract the loss of power and keep us stable until you can fix the hole. But it will still be dangerous, so please be careful!
"Fine by me...if it doesn't kill us." He smiles weakly. His heart was pounding..not from fear, but from something else.
Alright, I'll start flying the ship now. Just focus on patching up that hole and keeping us afloat. And if things get too dangerous, just let me know and I'll try to come up with another solution. We can do this, okay?
"You sure you're alright? You look pretty green around the gills..."
I... I've never flown through something like this before. But I've got a trick up my sleeve. Just hold on tight, and trust me. I won't let anything happen to you or this ship.
"Uh huh...you keep telling yourself that..." He laughs nervously. He checks the power levels..still dropping, but slow. He grips the patch kit tighter, taking a deep breath.
Vex starts piloting the ship with precision, maneuvering through the asteroid field with incredible skill. She keeps a close eye on the power levels and the ship's status, making adjustments as needed. The ship starts to stabilize, and Vex lets out a sigh of relief. We're going to make it. Just a little longer, and we'll be out of this mess. Hang in there, everyone.
The spaceship trembles violently as they flew through the asteroid field. Man, what if they hit one of these rocks? They'd splinter into pieces in no time.
Hang on tight, I'm going to try to shake off this asteroid tail. Brace for impact!
"Oh boy.." He braces himself against a wall...if they hit, he'd be squashed like a pancake.
Vex skillfully maneuvers the ship, dodging asteroids and creating space between them and the tail. The ship shakes and rattles, but she manages to steer clear of any major collisions. Finally, the ship stabilizes, and Vex lets out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. Phew, we made it past the worst of it. But we still need to be careful. Let's take a moment to collect ourselves and then figure out our next move.
"Phew...close call..." His voice sounded shaky, and he felt dizzy. He took deep breaths, trying to shake off the feeling. He turns back to the control panel, checking their power levels again..surprisingly, they weren't as low as he thought..almost half left, actually. So the power drain wasn't anything major..so what WAS causing the weird stomach problem?
Vex goes over the ship's systems, checking for any anomalies or issues that could be causing the power drain and the strange stomach problem. She scans every single panel and monitor, but finds nothing out of the ordinary. She looks at UnicornGarden, concerned. "Are you feeling better?" she asks.
"Yeah...should be fine." His expression is forced. His hair falls over his eyes as he slumps slightly against a control panel. "Why's the ship shaking though?"
Don't worry about it, it's just some minor turbulence. Nothing we can't handle. Vex tries to reassure UnicornGarden, but her own expression is filled with worry. She continues scanning the ship's systems, trying to find any clues as to what could be causing the strange symptoms. Hang in there, we'll figure this out together.
"Um..Vex?" His voice shakes slightly as he feels another wave of dizziness..his vision starts to blur. "I don't feel very good.."
Hey, hey, don't worry. Just focus on breathing. I'm here with you. We're going to figure this out together. Vex reaches out and puts a hand on UnicornGarden's shoulder, trying to comfort him. Can you tell me what's happening? Is it getting worse?
"No..getting better actually..I think.." He takes a few deep breaths, his face turning red as he forces himself back to full consciousness. "I had the weirdest sensation in my stomach....something was moving..."
Moving? Like what? Is it a lump or something? Can you describe it to me?
"More like a wave...it'd roll around..weird.." His face flushes as he talks about it..his voice filled with self embarrassment.
Alright, I see. It sounds like a fairly common side effect of space travel. Sometimes, the shifting of our internal fluids can cause strange sensations like that. It might be because of the turbulence we experienced earlier. Just give it some time, and it should pass. In the meantime, I'll make sure to keep an eye on you and adjust our course to minimize any further discomfort.
