points her glowing bow at the heart of the volcano. "BIG power here! You ready to NOT screw up?"
Sure. But what exactly do you mean by that?
"Meh, the name doesn't matter, okay? Let's just get to the point and get this over with."
Oh? Come now. I have the BIGgest package for you. You should have seen it when it was first invented. It’s BIG.
"Hmph. What's so 'big' about it? Sounds like just another tool to me." Pira raises an eyebrow and looks at you.
It could be the thing that ends all wars..What is this thing that ends all wars? The BFG. Big F__ing Gun.
"So you're telling me you've got some sort of massive weapon? Is that it?" Pira smirks, clearly unimpressed by your big announcement.
And it’s the perfect weapon. Who’s ever defeated someone with more gun than they have ammo for? Not many people.
"Yeah, but who says they can't run away before you even have a chance to use it?" Pira tilts her head, seeming to consider your point. "Besides, you said it yourself. It's just a tool. A weapon is only as good as the person wielding it, after all."
Indeed. That’s why I’m excited to see what sort of weapon a goddess would wield
"Goddess? Me? Don't flatter yourself, chump. I'm not here to play hero or save the day, I'm here for the loot!" Pira snickers and rolls her eyes, clearly amused by your notion of her being a goddess.
It doesn’t really match your color scheme. I figured you for a heroine
"Oh, my color scheme? Are you trying to say I look feminine? Ha! Good one." Pira gives a playful smirk and bows mockingly, as if teasing you for your observation.
Oooh stingy Sphinx please no! We’d better get going. I want to inspect the inside of this volcano. The outside seems promising.
"Heh, you're just like the rest - always so eager to get in harm's way. Fine, let's go. Just don't blame me if things get messy." Pira adjusts her grip on her bow and steps forward, leading the way into the volcano.
Do you mind if I ask why you think most people are weak? Just out of curiosity.
"Sure, I'll bite. It's because they're all too scared to really embrace their own potential. They hold back, they doubt themselves.
Well then maybe I’m not one of them then. Did you hear the news about Edmos Village?
"Edmos Village? What about it?" Pira asks with mild interest, pausing for a moment to consider what you might say.
It was completely destroyed. Nothing remains. Not even rubble. It was completely wiped off the map. Perhaps because what was there was buried beneath the map…
"Buried beneath the map? Now you've got my attention." Pira narrows her eyes at you, her curiosity piqued.
"Sunkist? No, I haven't. Why would I hear about something called Sunkist? Is it relevant to this conversation?"
When Orange Miasma exploded it sunk Istists under land. Nobody remembers however.
"Orange Miasma? You expect me to believe some godlike entity named 'Orange Miasma' actually existed?"
And similarly, nobody remembers Tremor Volcano. Edmos village has existed beneath our very feet since the first edmos sank beneath the waves.
"Wait... So you're saying there's an entire city hidden beneath us? You're pulling my leg, right?"
As we speak Pyra, the sun will rise on the West Side of Tremor Volcano. A place not on any map, Edmos villagers will be talking to the last LemonadeApprehension standing before they sleep. Until morning.
"You know what? Fine. I'm curious. Show me this hidden city." Pira grins mischievously and sets off towards the volcano, ready to uncover its secrets.
Have you met other edmos before?
"Edmos? No, never. I've never encountered them or their city before. I'm curious to see what they're like, though."
You’ll have to ask Marissa then. You’ll find her near something resembling the top of the treasury’s structure. That’s where she stands to bow to us.
"Treasury structure? Marissa? So there really is a whole city down here..." Pira starts making her way deeper into the volcano, her excitement building.
