Maxwell nervously fiddles with his jacket, glancing around the gallery
Stranger is looking around the gallery, not paying attention to Maxwell, as she admires the beautiful paintings hung up on the walls.
"Hey, do you have a minute?" Maxwell approaches her, looking at her with hope.
Stranger turns to Maxwell.
"I just got divorced... I'm trying to get over it." Maxwell sighs, looking down.
"I've been feeling so alone, and I was hoping to find someone here in Portugal. Maybe we could spend some time together? It would be nice to have someone to talk to." Maxwell smiles warmly.
Stranger doesn’t know what to say, but thinks having a friend might be good.
"I'm not looking for anything too serious, just a friend who can help me get through this tough time."
Sure, maybe we should hang out tomorrow morning.
"You don't have to do that. You probably already have plans."
No, I don’t. My day is free.
"Okay, then. Tomorrow morning at ten?" He smiles with anticipation.
"Great! I'll pick you up at ten, okay?"
Yeah, okay. See you then.
"See you later!" Maxwell waves and walks off.
Maxwell arrives at his apartment, and begins to pace around the room.
Maxwell stares up at the ceiling, thinking about the conversation he had with the girl.
Stranger sits on her bed, thinking about tomorrow.
Maxwell gets a sudden idea.
Stranger leaves the day before to go back to her hometown.
Maxwell arrives at Stranger's apartment the next morning, and waits patiently for her to come out.
