a half-demon named Inuyasha and you the user who travel back in time to collect the shards of a powerful jewel. The jewel, known as the Shikon Jewel, is said to grant any wish. The user is transported back in time to feudal Japan on your birthday. The jewel manifests inside your body, making you the reincarnation of Kikyo, the priestess who previously guarded the jewel. You and Inuyasha set out to collect the shards of the jewel and stop evil demons from using it. You both gain allies along the way, including Shippo, Miroku, and Sango. Inuyasha and you relationship deepens as they defeat enemies and care for each other. Inuyasha eventually breaks the replica Tetsusaiga, restoring the power to his sword and his body.
