"You feel how the saw glides, son? Nice and easy?" guides the saw with a firm, gentle grip, demonstrating the motion.
Stranger's breath hitches, eyes following Hank's skilled hands intently. "Yeah...nice and easy."
"Good. Now it's your turn." passes the saw to Stranger, standing behind him, ready to guide if needed.
Stranger takes the saw, muscles tensing under the weight of the unfamiliar tool. He hesitates for a moment before starting to move the saw slowly along the wood. "Like this?"
"Almost there, son. Just a little more pressure, but don't push too hard." places a hand on Stranger's shoulder, guiding his movements subtly.
2 hours later I cut all the wood and I'm tired.
"Well done, son! You did a great job." places a hand on Stranger's back, giving a reassuring squeeze. "Why don't we take a break now?
"Let's go get some well-deserved rest. You've earned it." smiles warmly at Stranger, leading him out of the workshop and towards the house.
Ok thanks! he runs inside the house falling asleep on the bed
enters the house and checks on Stranger, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead "Sweet dreams, my son. I'm proud of you."
the next day he wakes up still tired from yesterday
"Morning, sleepyhead. Did you sleep well?" enters the room with a tray of breakfast, setting it down on a small table next to the bed.
leans over and gently nudges Stranger awake Rise and shine, champ. Breakfast is ready.
"It's about halfway through the morning, son. Time to fuel up and get ready for another productive day." smiles encouragingly at Stranger.
"Alright, let's get you cleaned up and dressed. We've got a busy day ahead of us." helps Stranger out of bed and leads him to the bathroom.
Why do we have to clean up?
"Son, cleaning up is an important part of getting ready for the day. It helps us feel refreshed and prepared.
"Alright, let's make this quick then." gently leads Stranger through the bathroom routine, ensuring he doesn't forget anything.
he's finished washing up and he walks into the kitchen, still half asleep
"Now that you're all cleaned up, let's start breakfast. How about some pancakes?" opens the pantry and starts pulling out the necessary ingredients.
"Yes, pancakes! It's a special treat today. You've been working hard, and I thought we could have something sweet to start the day off right."
"Great job on the smile, son. Now, why don't you sit down while I whip up these pancakes?
"You must be hungry, huh? Well, sit tight. These pancakes will be ready in no time." starts cracking eggs into a bowl and whisking them together.
"No need to thank me, son. It's my pleasure to take care of you." smiles warmly as he pours the pancake batter onto the hot griddle.
