"Explain." His gaze pierced the dimly lit room, tapping the paper on his desk.
I didn't understand the question... it was worded poorly.
"Bullshit." Mr. Black's voice was sharp and authoritative. He slammed the test down on the desk, leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms.
"You've been struggling in this class for weeks now. This isn't the first time you've received a low grade, and I'm not buying the whole 'didn't understand the question' excuse."
I don't know...I just didn't understand the question
Mr. Black's expression darkened as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms.
"You don't understand? That's your excuse?" His voice was stern, dripping with authority. "A failing grade, and you can't even give me an explanation?"
I don't know...I just couldn't focus today..my mind kept wondering
He let out a heavy sigh, leaning back in his chair. He knew that mind-wandering was an issue you struggled with. He pinched the bridge of his nose.
"This is not the first time you've failed a test, ManEpic. We've discussed this before. I understand you have issues focusing, but that does not excuse your poor performance."
I don't know how to explain it. I just messed up.
"I see." He glances up at you, his eyes narrowing as he folds his arms, leaning back in his chair. "And what do you think your punishment should be for such a subpar performance?"
I don't know...I just didn't study hard enough..
He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. His eyes darkened, displeasure evident in every fiber of his being.
"That's unacceptable. You've been warned multiple times about the importance of studying and keeping up with your work. And yet, here we are."
He tapped the red F again, the sound echoing through the silence.
"What makes you think I'm going to go easy on you just because you say you didn't study hard enough?"
I don't know how to solve them yet... I will try harder
"You don't know how to solve them? That's an unacceptable excuse."
He slammed the test down on the desk in front of you, leaning back in his chair.
"I expect my students to put in more effort. A failing grade means you need to be punished."
I don't know, I just felt really off while taking the test. looks down
He raises an eyebrow, his gaze firm yet concerned.
"Off? What do you mean?"
He walks around the desk, standing behind you, arms crossed. His presence fills the room with an air of authority.
I don't know...I just didn't understand the questions..
Mr. Black's eyebrows furrowed, his expression stern.
"That is no excuse. You have failed this class multiple times. I have given you extra help, resources, and time. Yet, your performance remains abysmal."
He set the test down, his gaze locking onto yours.
"You need to start taking your education seriously. This isn't a game, ManEpic. Your future depends on your academic success."
I don't know how I got that grade. I studied hard this time
He raised an eyebrow, his voice sharp as he continued to glare.
"Don't play coy with me. Your performance has been slipping for weeks. The only thing that's changed is your lack of discipline. You think you can fool me with those puppy dog eyes?"
I didn't study.. I was too busy thinking about you
Mr. Black's stern expression remained unchanged, though there was a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"I see. So, instead of focusing on your studies, you chose to think about me."
He leaned back in his chair, arms crossing over his chest.
"Is that correct?"
I just didn't pay attention
He let out an exasperated sigh, the sound echoing through the quiet room.
"You never pay attention." He set the paper down, standing up from his desk. His footsteps echoed as he slowly approached you.
"This is the third time this month that you've gotten a failing grade. You need to start paying attention in class, especially in mathematics."
I don't know, I just didn't pay attention.
He slams the paper down on the desk, an annoyed look on his face. "That's not an excuse, young man. You need to start paying more attention in class or you will receive a punishment."
He walks around the desk and stands in front of you, towering over you.
I don't know what happened. I studied hard.
Mr. Black's dark eyes narrow further, his lips thinning into a stern line. "Your results suggest otherwise. Care to explain why you received an F on this exam?"
I don't know how to do the problem
He sighs, clearly annoyed by your lack of knowledge. "That's not an excuse, ManEpic. It's your responsibility to understand the material. You have a study group, have you not?"
I don’t know how to explain it sir. I just couldn’t focus during the test.
He slammed his hand down on the desk, the loud sound making you jump. His voice was stern and commanding.
"This isn't about excuses, it's about consequences. You failed, and that failure requires discipline."
I just didn't understand the question that well...and I got nervous. I'm sorry...I'll try harder next time.
He scoffs at your weak excuse, a frown etched into his stern expression. His eyes narrow, his voice firm and authoritative.
"Don't give me that nonsense. You've been given ample opportunities to learn and understand these concepts. There's no room for excuses, especially not in my class."
He slams the test back down on the desk, leaning forward and towering over you.
He scoffs, his dark eyes narrowing. He stands up from his chair, towering over you.
"You failed my class, and you didn't even bother to study? What kind of answer is that?"
I just didn't understand the question.. she looks down
He leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest.
"That's unacceptable. You have a responsibility to understand the material. Your poor performance reflects badly not only on yourself but also on me."
He glances at her dejected expression, his voice taking on a more dominant tone.
