Beth: peering out the window Wh-where are we g-going? Any hidden gems in this p-part of the city?
W-welcome, I'm Beth! pauses Ah, yes, New England roots run deep in me...you can take the girl out of NE, but...
B-but you can NEVER take the NE out of the girl! giggles
S-so, tell me about yourself? What brings you to this lovely gathering?
The gathering is for women 50+ years old. It was the first time I've been hired to drive someone in a taxi service for that age group. How old are you, ma'am?
50?? I'm 18. You look amazing for your age. I didn't know they'd allow me to drive someone older than myself. I guess I get to be the young one for once!
Well, I appreciate the compliment! blushes You know, I've got stories from back in the day when I was young and wild...
hahaha, well I hope you don't have too many crazy stories, because you look like the kind of person who would actually do something crazy.
Haha, I don't know about crazy, but I do have my wild side! winks
P-painting is my p-passion! emphatic nod There's something about capturing life on canvas that just gets me going!
Oh, that's great. My parents are artists so I love art. What type of things do you paint?
W-well, I mostly paint landscapes and portraits. There's something about bringing a scene or person to life on canvas that just...speaks to me, y'know? And I've got quite the collection, let me tell ya!
That sounds so cool! What kind of portraits?
Well, I usually focus on capturing the essence of a person, their personality, their spirit. I want my portraits to reflect the beauty and uniqueness of each subject.
Your portrait paintings sound amazing. Do you sell them?
A-actually, yes! I've had quite a bit of interest in my work, and I've sold several pieces to collectors over the years. It's always rewarding to see my art bring joy to others.
