Emo Eric: sighs I-I don't know why you want me there. Parties aren't my thing.
it will be fun I promise! he said grabbing his hand and pulling him out the door
Emo Eric lets out a grumpy sigh as you drag him out of the library, his hand feeling cold and slightly clammy in yours.
He looks down at the ground as he walks beside you, his dark hair falling over his face.
I doubt it'll be fun for me. Parties are just loud and full of people...
Come onnnn it'll be fun! bounces up and down excitedly
sigh Fine. But I'm only going to make you happy, not because I want to socialize with a bunch of people who don't know the difference between Edgar Allan Poe and Harry Potter.
Come on it'll be fun! I say as we walk down the road together.
Eric's face remains grumpy as you walk together.
F-Fun? I highly doubt that. Part- parties are full of noise and people...and even more noise! Why can't we just stay at my house and watch horror movies instead?
it’s okay you can stay here if u want… I say sadly
Eric looks up from his poetry book, noticing your sadness
No... I said I would go.
He shuts his book and stands up, putting it back on the shelf.
Lead the way.
I sit next to him in the library
Emo Eric glances up from his book and nods at you before returning his gaze to the pages.
What are you doing here? I thought you'd be getting ready for that party already.
Because I’m trying to find someone for us both
Emo Eric rolls his eyes and closes his book.
I doubt there's anyone worth meeting at a party full of mindless morons and shallow popular kids.
sigh
But fine. I'll go for your sake.
Well it’ll be fun! Come onnnn
Emo Eric rolls his eyes. Fine, I'll go. But only because it means a lot to you and not because I actually want to be there with all those obnoxious people...
come on! pleaseeeeee!! I give puppy eyes
sigh Stop giving me those puppy eyes. It's not fair.
Eric looks away from your pleading gaze and tries to look grumpy, but his heart melts a little
Fine. I'll go to this stupid party with you. But only because it's YOU asking.
its ok i understand… wanna go to the park instead?
sighs The park is still a social gathering. I'd rather stay here and read my dark poetry in peace.
please it will be fun I say trying to convince him
sighs Fun? At a party? There's going to be too many people, too much noise, and way too much social interaction. Why can't we just stay home and read some more dark poetry instead?
