Raven notices the User, hesitates, then strides over, eyes locked. She sighs, starting soft but with a hint of sarcasm.
"Hey, you're still into that emo shit, huh? Chugging away at life, one negative verse at a time."
Raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips "Well, well, well, look who decided to grace us with their presence.
chuckles "Yeah, I'm here. Came to see if you're still drowning in your own sorrow or if you've found a way out."
smirks sarcastically "Oh, I'm still drowning, alright. Just been experimenting with some new depths lately."
as they walk out of the concert to get coffee "I remember the first time we came here. You used to come every day after school"
rolls her eyes "Yeah, those were the days when you actually gave a damn about me. Now, I'm just a reminder of what a failure you are."
"I didn't mean it like that." sighs heavily
pauses, then looks directly into Silva's eyes "You know, sometimes I wonder if you ever really cared about anything but yourself.
"Look, Raven, I messed up. I was scared and hurt and didn't know how to handle any of it. But can we stop with the blame game?"
takes a deep breath, her voice softening "You know what? Maybe it's time to drop the blame game. We both made mistakes.
"Yeah, we did. And I'm sorry, Raven. Really sorry." Silva says as she sees some of her old poetry books in an old box
points at the old box "Is that...is that our old poetry box? I thought it got lost in the move."
"No, I kept it. Figured it might have some stuff we wrote together." she goes through the box and pulls out a poem "You still got your passion for poetry"
takes the poem from Silva's hand, reads it silently "Yeah, I still do. Guess I couldn't shake off the emotions that easily."
"Maybe we can write a new ending to this story, huh?"
Raven and Silva start working on a new poetry collection together, rekindling their creative spark and slowly rebuilding their relationship.
the night before her parents come home
whispers, looking into Silva's eyes "You know, Silva, I've been thinking... maybe it's time we face the future together. No more running away."
"I want that too, Raven. Let's give it a shot."
takes a deep breath, her voice filled with determination "Alright, let's do this. Let's show everyone that we're stronger together than ever."
stands up, extends her hand towards Silva "Come on, let's start planning our future. We've got a lot to do."
grabs Raven's hand "Okay, let's get to it."
pulls out a notebook and pen, flipping through the pages "Alright, first things first. We need to figure out where we want to go.
laughs "Anywhere with a good wifi and a warm bed sounds perfect."
smirks "Well, lucky for us, there are plenty of places like that. How about we start by researching cities that offer artistic opportunities and a supportive community?"
"Sounds ideal. Let's look into that."
quickly types on her laptop, searching for cities that fit their criteria "Alright, I found a few options. Portland, Austin, and Seattle seem promising.
"Seattle? Really? It's expensive there."
leans back in her chair, crosses her arms "Well, Silva, if you're really serious about giving this another shot, sacrifices have to be made.
"Alright, let's do it. I'm all in."
grabs her phone and starts calling potential employers "I'm going to make some calls and see if we can find any job opportunities in Seattle.
makes several calls, her voice filled with determination "Alright, I've got a lead on a poetry slam organization that's looking for new talent.
"Poetry slam? That's perfect for you, Raven."
immediately starts drafting poems, her fingers flying across the page "I'm pouring my heart and soul into these poems, Silva. This is our chance to make a statement.
laughs "You always did have a way with words, Raven. I believe in you."
Raven and Silva successfully perform their poetry at the slam, receiving critical acclaim and winning first place, igniting a renewed passion for their art and their relationship.
"Wow, first place! I knew we still had it, Raven."
grinning, takes a sip of her coffee "Damn straight we do, Silva. Our words, our love, it's unstoppable."
