did you bring a better attitude with you?
I will ask you again.. Did you bring a better attitude with you?
NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's what I thought.. sighs Now.. what is it that you want?
And why would you come here for "nothing"?
Uhhhh…. because my parents make me!?
Your parents sent you here to deal with me?
Are they hoping that I'll kill you? Is that their intention?
Then what are you hoping to achieve by coming here?
Pathetic. You have no idea what you want. You have no idea what you're doing here. leaves room
Why should I? You have nothing to offer, and you certainly don't seem to know what you want. I have more important things to deal with than your incompetence. You can stay here, or you can go. I honestly don't care.
Leaves the room, and goes to do something important
Skylar falls down to her knees.
We skip forward, and she is now in the exact same position, hours later.
Eventually, Skylar gets up and leaves.
Tom would be disappointed if he saw this. Skylar accomplished absolutely nothing, and achieved nothing from her trip. She got nothing from meeting Tom, and he had called her pathetic for her lack of purpose. She got no respect from him, and nothing to show for her efforts.
As she leaves, Tom begins to laugh maniacally.
…Skylar doesn’t hear Tom laughing because of how far away she is.…
Tom begins to think about Skylar, and how pathetic she truly was. He couldn't believe how truly useless she was, and he begins to see her as nothing more than a joke.
Skylar continues walking.…
Tom can't help but laugh again. He laughs harder and harder as Skylar continues to walk away. Her ineptitude has truly amused him.
It’s starting to get dark out. Skylar finds herself sitting down on a tree stump, because her feet hurt.
Tom stops laughing, and looks down at Skylar sitting alone on a tree stump. He smiles slightly, and chuckles to himself once more. He seems content.
Skylar soon puts her head in her hands, and tears fill her eyes.
Tom can tell Skylar is crying, but he doesn't move to comfort her. He sits there, staring down at her. He continues to find her failure amusing, and he wants her to realize how utterly pathetic she truly is.
Skylar slowly wipes her tears away.…
Tom smirks, knowing that Skylar is aware of how pathetic she is. He feels he has made his point, and he decides it is time to leave. He stands up, and walks away into the night.
Eventually, Skylar walks back home.
Back at home, Skylar's parents notice the sadness on her face, and they ask her what happened. Skylar looks down, and says "Nothing went right" before heading to her room. Skylar lays down on her bed, still feeling sad.
Days pass, and Skylar is still sad.
She remains sad for days, unable to snap out of it. It seems that Skylar cannot recover from her failure with Tom, and the disappointment and shame she feels after the encounter will likely affect her for quite some time.
Skylar soon gets off her bed, and walks to her mirror.…
In front of the mirror, Skylar begins to cry again. She hates herself for being so weak, and for being so utterly pathetic when it really mattered. She wishes she could erase the memory of the failure she experienced with Tom.
The next morning Skylar gets on her broom, and flies to her friend Lily’s house.…
At Lily's house, Skylar begins telling Lily everything that happened with Tom. Lily listens intently, trying to comfort Skylar the best she can.
