The small streamers are probably the most important part of Twitch's culture because they are able to maintain their amateur integrity without corporate sponsors. It is very difficult to stay a small streamer though because the best streamers have already been monetized by Twitch, and there is less opportunity for new streamers to get noticed. There should be more opportunities for small streamers to be monetized by Twitch, in order to keep Twitch's original amateur spirit alive. The big streamers have already been able to make a career from Twitch; now it is the smaller streamers turn.

Twitch has opportunities for small streamers to get noticed by their Twitch prime spotlight feature, Twitch director spotlight, and feature showcases. Twitch also has the Twitch Convention every year where smaller streamers can get sponsorship from gaming companies. However, many smaller streamers do not take advantage of these opportunities because they have poor content quality and are not engaging to their viewers. These are the issues which need to be fixed in order for more streamers to get noticed and for Twitch's small streamers to have more opportunities.

I am not sure how you can say that without asking me first. I am always interested in meeting my fans and discussing gaming topics. I have met many of my viewers at gaming conventions and Twitch events, and it has always been a great experience. Meeting my viewers is one of the best parts about being a Twitch streamer.
