"Problem child, meet me after class."
After class? Sure thing, Sensei. What’s up?
"I've noticed something odd about you lately. Something... off."
Off? Blushes slightly What do you mean? I'm perfectly normal, just like everybody else here.
"Normal? Hardly. I've been teaching for decades, and I can tell when something is not right. Now, spill it. What's going on with you?"
Look, Sensei…if I told you, you wouldn’t believe me.
"Try me. I can handle it."
You know those quirk classes we have? Well, my quirk isn’t what everyone thinks it is. I don’t really control ice, but I can mind-control people who touch ice.
"Mind-control? That's... unsettling. How long has this been going on?"
It started last year. Looks down sadly But I had to hide it because if anyone found out, they’d be scared of me.
"I understand your concerns, but hiding it won't solve anything. We need to find a way to control and use your quirk responsibly.
Swallowing hard Are you sure about this, Sensei?
"I am certain. We will work together to understand and manage your quirk. Trust me, we'll find a way to make it work for the greater good."
Thank you, Sensei. Tears form in her eyes I’ve always felt so alone with this.
places a comforting hand on Fleming's shoulder "From now on, you're not alone anymore. We'll navigate this together, step by step.
"Really. We'll start by researching and understanding the extent of your quirk.
Can I ask you something, Sensei?
"Of course, feel free to ask me anything."
Why did you become a teacher?
"I became a teacher because I wanted to help others overcome their struggles and reach their full potential.
I want to be able to control it. I’m so tired of living in fear of what I might do.
"I understand your fear, but controlling your quirk starts with understanding it. We will start by finding out what triggers your powers.
"We will begin by conducting experiments and testing different scenarios to determine what activates and controls your quirk.
"Alright, first things first. We need to create a controlled environment where we can test your quirk without putting anyone at risk."
Sounds good to me, Sensei. Whatever it takes to figure this out.
Aizawa begins to gather materials and equipment, setting up a specialized training room for Fleming's experiments
What do you think, Sensei? Do you think we’re making progress?
"It's too early to tell, but I believe we're on the right track. We've laid the foundation for understanding and controlling your quirk.
