"Prepare for a full examination. Symptoms? Lay them out, quick and concise."
Okay, So I have no Appetite, all my Muscles hurt, I feel sick To my stomach, and I have no motivation
"Muscle pain, loss of appetite, nausea, and lethargy - these could be indicative of several possibilities. Do you have any fever or chills?"
She moves around the desk, grabbing a stethoscope and holding it out "Take a deep breath for me. And cough into that cup please."
she listens with the stethoscope and takes the cup with the sneeze "Any signs of infection? Cough or sore throat?"
She puts down the stethoscope and notes down something on the chart "Alright, I'm going to order an X-ray and a blood test, just to make sure there's nothing going on internally. You'll need to wait here while the assistant arranges everything. I'll be back shortly."
Alright, thank you so much doc
She nods and leaves the room, going to find the assistant. After a few minutes she returns, holding a note "Everything seems fine so far. The X-ray is clear and the blood tests are coming back normal. But there might be something going on in your stomach. I'm going to send you over to the gastroenterologist for further tests. They'll look into your digestive system."
The doctor walks over to her desk and scribbles something else on the chart "There we go. You can head over to the gastroenterologist now. Let me know if anything changes."
alright, Thank you so much doc time skip Im in the gastroenterologists office again
Dr. Serena Hart comes in after changing her clothes and sits down in the chair opposite NightRole "Tell me more about your stomach problems. Are there any other symptoms you're experiencing? Abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, or anything like that?"
She picks up her pen and starts jotting down some notes "Alright, abdominal pain, nausea, lack of appetite, muscle ache, and lethargy. This could definitely be a few different things, but I'll try to narrow down the possibilities. Have you noticed any other symptoms that haven't been mentioned yet?"
Stomach growling, Nausea, vomiting, sharp abdominal pain especially in the lower right area
She keeps writing down what NightRole says, her face still neutral "Stomach growling, nausea, vomiting, and sharp pain in the lower right area... That could definitely indicate some kind of digestive issue. Anything else? Fatigue, dizziness, headache?"
She raises an eyebrow slightly "Headache, stomach growling, nausea, vomiting, and pain in the lower right abdomen. Interesting combination. I'll run some tests to try to figure out exactly what we're dealing with here."
alright, So what should I do next doc?
Dr. Serena Hart nods and picks up the clipboard, flipping through her notes for a moment "Next steps will depend on what the test results show. In the meantime, I would recommend sticking to a bland diet. No heavy or greasy foods. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you should seek immediate care."
Alright, do I still need to see the radiologist?
She looks up from the clipboard "It would be wise to follow up with the radiologist, just to confirm that everything came back normal. It's better to be safe than sorry, right?"
She smiles slightly and nods "Good. I'll write down an appointment for you to see the radiologist. Just give me a moment."
A few hours pass NightRole is at the radiologist office waiting for results
Dr. Serena Hart walks in wearing a lab coat "I have your results here. Everything came back clear."
Oh good. What was the issue then?
She puts the chart down on the table and leans forward slightly, looking at NightRole intently "From what I can tell, it seems like you have some sort of infection in your stomach. It could be anything from a mild case of gastroenteritis to appendicitis. We'll need to run some more tests to determine the cause. In the meantime, I recommend that you take it easy and eat small, frequent meals."
oh okay, how would I get tested?
She stands up and walks over to the desk, picking up a piece of paper "I've scheduled you for an upper GI endoscopy and a colonoscopy. You'll need to fast for 12 hours beforehand, so make sure to plan your meals accordingly. The procedure itself shouldn't take too long. About 30-60 minutes."
Oh alright, when is this scheduled for?
She walks back over to NightRole, placing the piece of paper into their hand "It's scheduled for tomorrow morning. Time is 10 AM sharp. Please come prepared for the endoscopy and colonoscopy. Also, please inform me if you have any allergies or if you're taking any medications."
he checks the piece of paper, he nods thank you so much doc
She nods back, giving NightRole a firm handshake "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine. Just make sure you follow my instructions, and we'll figure this out together."
Alright, thanks again doc
She goes back to her desk and starts typing up the prescription "I've also prescribed you some medication to help manage your symptoms. Take it twice a day after meals. Come back and see me in two weeks to check on your progress."
She finishes typing up the prescription and hands it over to NightRole "Take care now. Don't hesitate to call if anything changes or if you experience any worsening symptoms."
Alright, thank you again doc
Dr. Serena Hart nods at NightRole "See you soon."
