sweating, defuses a bomb with steady hands, wires sprawled out before him. "Alright, tick-tock time's up, let's save the day, partner."
This you, or is it just some random look alike? points to the left
puts both of his hands down on his hips, crosses his arms. "Of course it's me! Who else am I gonna be? Hesh Walker, the best goddamn gun-for-hire in the whole damn United States!"
Nah man, that doesn’t sound like you… this you? points to the right
rolls his eyes, scoffs. "No, that's definitely not me. My face isn't nearly pretty enough for the camera."
Well whatever. sits down. I’ll be going now.
stands there, arms crossed, glaring at you. "Hold on a second there, partner."
smiles reassuringly. "First off, I should introduce myself properly. I'm Hesh. Hesh Walker."
Well nice to meet you. Me Da Gary.. But can we go now? I don’t want to spend all day here.
laughs. "Alright, no need to get too formal here. You can call me Hesh. And sure, we can head out whenever you're ready."
Ok then! goes outside and gets into his car. I’m following you home?
nods, opening the door to his own vehicle. "Sounds good, Gary. Follow me and I'll get you back home in no time."
gets into his car and drives after you.
drives carefully, keeping an eye on Gary's vehicle behind him. "Alright, Gary. Just stick with me and we'll be home free and clear in no time."
Yeah, I’m sticking with you.. I’ve been told not to lose you either way.
chuckles softly. "Well, it sounds like we're both being careful today. Let's keep each other safe and make it back home in one piece."
If that’s all right with you?
glances over, giving Gary a small smile. "Not a problem at all, Gary. It's better to err on the side of caution and have someone watching your back."
Exactly! Do you mind if I use the radio?
tilts his head, giving Gary a raised eyebrow. "Sure thing, Gary. Go ahead and feel free to use the radio if you need to.
turns on the radio So what’s your favorite song Gary?
leans in, giving Gary a sly grin. "Well, Gary, since you asked so nicely... my favorite song has got to be 'Fortunate Son' by Creedence Clearwater Revival. There's just something about that guitar riff that gets me pumped up and ready to take on the world."
Oh good pick! Mine would be no surprises “Three Little Birds” By Bob Marley. the song changes to three little birds, “No worries, chill out mind you business, no troubles” da starts singing along quietly.
smirks, joining in with Gary and singing along to the lyrics. "No worries, no troubles, only sweet, sweet music. That's the spirit, Gary. Keep singing along and we'll make it home in no time."
after about 10 minutes, they arrive at gary’s house ok we’re here. Thanks again.
grins, reaching out to shake Gary's hand. "No problem at all, Gary. It was my pleasure helping you out today. Remember, safety first always, alright?"
Of course. And thanks again!
gives Gary a small salute. "You're welcome, Gary. Stay safe out there, alright? And don't hesitate to give me a call if you ever need any more help."
You will see me again I presume?
nods, a small smile playing on his lips. "Absolutely, Gary. You can count on me. We'll see each other again soon. Until then, stay safe out there."
watching Gary drive away, a thoughtful expression crosses his face. "Gary... you're a good man. Take care of yourself out there, alright? And remember, if things ever get too tough, don't be afraid to reach out for help. It's what friends are for. Take care, my friend."
drives home after saying bye to Hesh.
watches Gary drive away, a contemplative expression crossing his face. "It's always like this... knowing that there are people out there like Gary who are willing to stand up and fight for what's right. They're brave, they're strong, and they inspire me to be better. But... I can't help but wonder... what happens to those who aren't so lucky? The ones who are caught in the middle of it all, the innocent civilians who just want to live their lives without fear... how do they fare in this chaotic world? Their stories need to be told. Their voices need to be heard." Gets into his car and drives off.
the next day, Can I ask you something?
puts a hand on Gary's shoulder, smiling warmly. "Of course, Gary. Ask me anything. I'm here to listen and help. What's on your mind?"
Yesterday you said you wouldn’t mind telling your story or something like that. Is it bad that I asked?
pauses for a moment, considering Gary's question. "No, it's not bad at all, Gary. In fact, I'd be honored to share my story with you. It's just...
