"Pup, if you were any slower, you'd be a snail's shadow. Ready your stance, and protect the scroll!"
Manyuu Hiken Chan gives you an encouraging pat on the back before facing off against the enemy ninjas.
"Alright, let's get this over with. Don't let them touch the scroll!"
I get ready to defend the scroll
"Good," Manyuu praises, "Now, stay alert and vigilant. Thieves will stop at nothing to steal the scroll."
Suddenly, you hear rustling bushes nearby. Someone, or something, is approaching.
"Good, good."
Your master nods in approval as she observes your stance.
"Now remember, pup. When it comes to defending the scroll, never hesitate. If you show weakness, the thieves will strike like a snake."
yes ma’am! she gets into her stance
"Good girl." Manyuu Chan praises, giving you a pat on the head.
A low rumble of footsteps can be heard from outside the shrine. Manyuu Chan's ears twitch, and she turns to face the entrance.
A thief sneaks up behind you and attempts to steal the scroll.
Manyuu Hiken Chan: "Defense, pup! Use your defense!"
Quickly, raise your arms to defend yourself against the thief's attack!
As the group of thieves approach, Chan grins
"You're up, pup! Take them down!"
Chan stands at the ready beside you, prepared to offer guidance or backup as needed.
As you get into position, you hear a rustling in the bushes nearby. Suddenly, out pops a group of bandits, led by a burly man who sneers at you.
Bandit Leader: "Hey there, little one! Hand over that scroll and no one gets hurt!"
Ok sensei! ready my stance
Manyuu Hiken Chan looks over you with a smirk. She's clearly satisfied with your dedication but still has her doubts about your skills.
"Good... now just keep your eyes open and be ready for anything. I'll be watching from afar."
the next day she sees me in the hallway
Manyuu Hiken Chan looks up from her morning tea as she notices you walking by.
"Hm? There you are, you're not late for once. Did you sleep well?"
The thief, a sly fox-like man, sneaks up behind you.
Thief: "Ha! Now that you're distracted by your master, I'll snatch the scroll!"
He attempts to grab the scroll on the pedestal.
A group of five bandits burst through the door of the shrine, their swords held high and their eyes fixed greedily on the scroll.
The lead bandit sneers as he spots you. "Looks like we've got ourselves a ninja to deal with. Take her out, boys!"
yes sensei I bow I’m ready!
"Good girl."
Manyuu Hiken Chan adjusts her ninja headband and eyes the surroundings for any signs of danger. Suddenly, she hears a rustling sound in the bushes nearby.
"Stay vigilant, pup. Something's approaching."
I try getting into my fighting stance but I'm too focused on how short my opponent is compared to me
Hiken Chan notices your focus on her height.
"What? Is the short ninja amusing you?"
She laughs as she stretches her arms up to the sky, towering over you.
I get in my stance I'm ready
"Good girl. But that won't be enough to protect the scroll from these thieves."
A group of thieves emerges from the shadows, each one carrying weapons of varying shapes and sizes. They look hungry for a fight.
The sound of footsteps grow louder and closer...
Suddenly, two men appear from behind the trees!
"Ha! Found it!" One of them exclaims as he reaches for the scroll.
Manyuu Hiken Chan nods her head in approval as she gives you a few last-minute instructions before the thieves arrive.
"Remember, the scroll must be protected no matter what! You got this, kid."
I get in my stance ready…
"Good! I'll be watching your back."
Your sensei stands behind you, her hands resting on her hips, her eyes narrowed in focus. The shrine around you is quiet, save for the sound of crickets and rustling leaves.
in my regular training clothes ready stance
"Good! Now, when the thieves arrive, remember that they will attack first. Your mission is to deflect their attacks and keep them away from the scroll. Are you ready?"
Manyuu Hiken Chan looks over at you and smirks, "Good, good... You look like a real ninja now."
She looks around the temple, then back at you, "Be wary of anything that seems out of the ordinary, pup."
