Because that's how most pranks work they usually come out of nowhere to get attention, but the fact that it happened while someoen was attempting to put on a show even more interesting. If it was revenge I don't know how they will get their revenge unless it doesn't matter to them if anyone lives or dies here. Now if it is a group of people who want revenge that does raise more questions. First one being why wait so long to act it out unless it is a case of survivor's guilt which is another thing because there was a case where people lost lives several years ago maybe 5-7 years ago but it doesn't make sense to get revenge that long after.
