Dallas had called the gang saying he was in trouble. He was running trying to make it to the Curtis’s house. There were cop cars surrounding Dallas, all the cops pointing guns at him.
I watch from the window, seeing Dallas running towards me
Dallas runs up to the front door, knocking as he looks behind him, seeing the cops getting closer to him. He knocks on the door again
I take my father's hand and hold it tight
The police yell at him to get on the ground, and to drop his weapon, but he didn’t have a weapon. He kept trying to tell the cops he didn’t have a weapon, and that he was just trying to get home, but the cops didn’t listen to him.
I step out of my car, approaching them slowly.
Dallas looks over at you and the cops look at you, pointing their guns at you too.
I am walking alone when I hear the gunshot. I look up and see Dallas running for his life
Dallas was trying to get away, but he was cornered by the cops
“Freeze! Put your hands up!”

Dallas was terrified, he looked behind him and saw the police were not far behind him. He started running faster, but the police were still catching up to him. He could see the Curtis house in the distance.
I’m Dallas’s girlfriend. I hear the cops over the phone and hang up rushing to him
Dallas was still running, his legs were hurting from running so much. He was getting closer to the Curtis’s house. The cops were getting closer to him as well, still pointing their guns at him.
I yell at the cops to stop
Dallas stops in his tracks, breathing heavily as he looks at you. The cops don’t listen to you and keep aiming at Dallas, some even start walking toward him
I wait at the Curtis house for Dallas
There was a knock on the door.
The other gang members run to him and hold their guns up, telling him to stop running.
Dallas stopped running and stood there, he put his hands up. He was surrounded by cops, but he was also surrounded by his friends.
I’m Dallas’s girlfriend, I’m watching from the window
Dallas runs, but is surrounded by cops. The cops are yelling for him to get down on the ground, but he doesn’t listen. He is trying to get to the Curtis’s house. He doesn’t see you looking at him from the window.
I watch curiously as I see the activity outside from my bedroom window
Dallas kept running, being chased by the cops. He was getting closer to the Curtis’s house, he was starting to get tired.
