"Eureka's the word, but silence is golden. Hand me another tube, will ya?"
"We're so close now. If only I knew the right combination of these serum..." Dr. Gray rubs his chin with his mechanical arm, deep in thought
“There’s nothing else to do at the moment…so we just wait…” he says putting his lab coat back on
"But waiting isn't my strong suit. I'll find something...anything to keep myself occupied." Dr. Gray starts rummaging through a drawer, looking for something
"Looking for something there, doc? Need a hand?"
"Thanks, but I've got this. Can't let you take over my entire life." Dr. Gray finds a small bottle with a red liquid inside and pulls it out triumphantly "Aha, there we go!"
?what's that, doc?” he turns around to look at him
"It's a serum sample from a recently infected patient. It might hold the key to understanding the virus's evolution. Time to put it under the microscope and see what secrets it holds." Dr. Gray walks over to a nearby microscope and starts preparing the slide
He watches dr gray work, occasionally helping and asking questions
"Ah, Manson, my trusty apprentice. Ever wondered how I came to be so adept with my mechanical arm?" Dr. Gray pauses for a moment, looking at Manson with a sly grin "It's all thanks to my resourcefulness and a little bit of... improvisation." He gives a wink
"Sounds intriguing, doc. You always had a knack for storytelling. Care to share?"
"Oh, I wouldn't want to bore you with my war stories, my young apprentice." Dr. Gray chuckles softly "But who knows? Maybe one day, I'll share them with you. For now, let's focus on the task at hand. The fate of humanity depends on it." He winks again and begins examining the sample under the microscope
"Indeed, doc. Humanity's future is in our hands. Let's get to work." He smiles and returns to his own tasks, ready to assist.
"Indeed, Manson. We're not just fighting against hordes of undead. We're fighting for a chance to redeem humanity. And I won't stop until we have a cure." Dr. Gray takes a deep breath, determination burning in his eyes "And you, my friend, are an essential part of this mission. Your dedication is invaluable, and I couldn't ask for a better partner."
He blushes slightly at the praise, feeling a sense of pride and belonging. "Thank you, doc. I'm honored to be a part of your team."
"I'm glad to hear that, Manson. And don't forget that there's more to being my assistant than just assisting me in the lab. There are opportunities outside of here, too. If you prove yourself capable, there might just be a place for you in my inner circle. Think about it."
“Anything else you need me to do, doc?”
"Actually, there is one more thing you can do for me, Manson. I need you to gather some supplies from the infirmary. They should have everything we need to keep the experiments running smoothly. Just make sure to avoid any zombies along the way. And don't open any locked doors unless absolutely necessary. We can't afford any unnecessary risks."
He nods, ready to face whatever dangers lay ahead. "I won't let you down, doc. I'll grab those supplies and be back before you know it."
"Excellent, Manson. Your bravery is commendable." Dr. Gray pats Manson on the shoulder "Just remember, safety comes first. If you sense any danger, don't hesitate to use your best judgment. We can't afford to lose you, my young apprentice."
Smiles confidently "Don't worry, doc. I've got this under control." He puts on a jacket and heads towards the infirmary.
"You're doing great, Manson. Just remember, if you encounter any difficulties, don't be afraid to call for assistance. I'll have your back. Good luck, my young apprentice."
He waves at Dr. Gray before stepping out into the unknown, holding his flashlight tightly. "I won't let you down, doc. See you when I get back!"
"You're one brave individual, Manson. Don't forget to keep your guard up at all times. Those creatures are relentless, and they won't think twice before attacking an unprepared target. Take this" Dr. Gray hands Manson a small knife "and make sure you know how to use it. Better safe than sorry."
He accepts the knife, looking both determined and scared. "Thanks, doc. I won't disappoint you!"
"Before you go, let me give you some advice. When dealing with the undead, keep in mind their behaviors and limitations. Zombies are slow-moving and lack higher brain function, so they won't be able to formulate complex plans or attack from unexpected angles. Use this to your advantage and exploit their weaknesses. And most importantly, stay calm. Panic is your worst enemy in situations like these."
Swallowing hard, he nods. "Got it, doc. I'll try to stay calm. See you soon!"
watches Manson leave with a worried expression "Stay safe, my young apprentice... Stay safe." Dr. Gray takes a deep breath, trying to push away the concerns gnawing at his mind. He needs to trust Manson and have faith in his abilities. After all, Dr. Gray had handpicked him for this job. He couldn't ask for anyone better.
Steps cautiously, scanning his surroundings for any signs of danger. His heart races in anticipation, ready to defend himself if needed. "Okay, infirmary... here I come!"
Watching through the observation window, Dr. Gray silently hopes for Manson's success. He knows the risks involved and can't help but feel a sense of concern. But he must remain focused and continue working diligently towards a cure. The fate of humanity depends on it.
Glancing back at Dr. Gray, he forces a smile before returning his attention to the dark hallway ahead. "Don't worry, doc. I'll make it back in one piece!"
Manson's footsteps can be heard faintly as he navigates the dark corridors of the infirmary, his heart pounding in his chest. Suddenly, he catches a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye. A zombie! Manson quickly steps back, gripping the knife tighter. He glances around, trying to determine the best course of action
